Hi,

I'm a Sci-Fi/Fantasy geek. I've always been. My first love was Star Trek. I used to write fanfiction under my blankets and in the blank pages of my classnotes in High School. Then Harry Potter came into my life and a good friend told me about fanfiction. Obviously, I had to give it a go. "Harry Potter and the Dream Book" was my first ever posted and completed fanfic. After that, I wrote "Harry Potter and the Archway of the Dead", which was meant as a "book 8" to finish J.K. Rowling's amazing work. Harry Potter is absolutely sacred to me.

Then, I became obsessed with BBC's Merlin. I wrote "Merlin: Light of Eriador" first and I wrote it with in mind to make it look like it could be an episode of the series. "Merlin: Loneliest Hour" was written just before the start of Season 4. It's mostly a reveal story. I thought it would be interesting to have Merlin reveal his magic, and then DIE. Honestly, I cried writing that. He comes back of course, with the help of Freya. Then "Merlin: Dawn of the Dragonlord" is an alternate season 3 or 4. Merlin's magic is revealed, and then he leaves Camelot to discover his dragonlord origins. What I really like about that story is the reveal part (more or less chapters 7-8-9), and then the totally different life that Merlin lives when is away from Camelot and he doesn't need to hide. "Merlin: Quest of the Dragonlord" is the sequel and explores the possibility of a Morgana/Merlin relationship (though I'm usually a Freya/Merlin believer)

And now: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Love, love, love the new movie. It's so much fun to write for Luke Skywalker who is one of my all-times favorite characters.

Mostly what I try to do when I write fanfiction is to stay true to the original work. Sometime I may alter an element to fit the plotline, but I always keep close to the essence of the characters, as I understand them. Basically, I try to write fanfic that the actual author would be interested to read (in my wildest dreams).
