![]() Author has written 19 stories for Pokémon, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Avengers, Greatest Showman, Radio Dramas, Umbrella Academy, and Maximum Ride. EDIT MAY 22, 2019: I RARELY UPLOAD HERE ANYMORE, AND ONLY UPLOAD STORIES ONCE COMPLETED. TO SEE MY IN-PROGRESS SERIES AND MOST UP-TO-DATE WORK, FOLLOW MY ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN PAGE AT: https:// archiveofourown. org/users/AgentNerd I'M ALSO NOW (SOMETIMES) ON TUMBLR AT https:// theagentnerd.tumblr .com/ I am an aspiring writer. Good speller? Not so much. Thank goodness for spell check. FANFICTION UPDATES: I am not a Pokemon!: I've been telling you all I won't give up on this story, and I won't, but I'm running into some problems here. Over time, I've lost interest in Maximum Ride. Once "Fang" came out, I've found myself starting to despise those books. As for Pokemon, I still like the cards, and the games (I haven't liked the anime ever since Dawn joined the cast), but... I've lost my muse for the story. Give me time, because I will need lots of it, but seeing as you all haven't given up on me, I won't give up on you. I beg for your patience. Edit 7/31/12: I have updated, but am still faced with the same problems, so new chapters may be few and far between. Sorry! Loony Luna Lovegood's Boggart: I thought of the idea of this story a while ago, but only now got around to writing it. It isn't the longest or the best, but I like it. Luna is...different. While it might not have actually happened in the books, what if Ginny and Luna's class had taken on a boggart? Luna's boggart would have to be something as unusual as the creatures she believes in. Professor Lupin tells us that the true form of a boggart is unknown because it always assumes the form of a person's greatest fear. Well, then we have to wonder, what if a person fears a boggart the most? It's a perfectly logical scenario, but how would the boggart react? That, I guess, was my basis for this one-shot. Also, I have a couple of references to Chamber of Secrets in there. Did you catch them? One is obvious, but the other might not be as much... :) Concrete Box: My first venture into the world of Sherlock fanfiction. I was really just struck with this idea and immediately had to write it down. I know, it may be a bit shocking and leaves quite a few details to your imagination, but it really is only a one-shot. This was inspired, in part, from A Study in Pink, when Sgt. Donovan told John something along the lines of, "One day, he'll be bored of just solving the crimes". And while I have ideas for a possible continuation and elaboration of what all led up to the events of this story, I haven't written it down yet, and if I do, it probably won't be posted for a long while. A Story About Love and Loss: My first published Doctor Who fanfiction! I'm really proud of this one, even though it is a bit short. Angels in Manhattan really struck a chord with me, I loved the episode and miss the Ponds terribly. But the first thought I had after watching the episode was, "What about Brian?" I fell in love with him as a character and felt that there needed to be closure on this end. And although I believe there are fanfictions out there of the Doctor telling him of Amy and Rory's fate, I became really intrigued with the idea of Brian and River's relationship. They're grandfather and granddaughter, after all. I was originally planning on adding more to it, but after reading the story once over, I feel that I gave it a good ending, one that it rightly deserves. Edit 10/13/12: madmanwithatardis has kindly translated this fic to French! If you're interested, you can read it here: http://www.fanfiction.ws/s/8605089/1/Une-histoire-damour-et-de-perte Spray Paint, Spaghetti, and Sherlock Holmes: My second published Sherlock fanfiction. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this took me over a year to write, and it's less than 4,000 words. I actually started writing it soon after watching Reichenbach for the first time; it was inspired both by that episode and the resulting "I Believe in Sherlock Holmes" movement. It's told in the third person point-of-view by Raz, who you should remember as the paint expert from The Blind Banker. By the way, why aren't Raz and Angelo on the characters list? Because they should be. Scorpius Malfoy and the Hogwarts Express: I thought Ron was very unfair to Scorpius, a boy that he'd never spoken to and had literally just seen for the first time. The first picture I had in my head for this story was that of Scorpius looking over at the Potter/Weasley clan at Platform 9 3/4 and wondering why Ron was giving him such a nasty look. Then I thought about Scorpius's relationship with his parents, and a couple of OC's presented themselves, and a story was born. Stardust and Remembrance: I love Sarah Jane. I adore Elisabeth Sladen. The Doctor and Sarah Jane had probably the best friendship on the entire show, and whether it was platonic or not, they loved each other. I believe that. This is my tribute to that friendship, and to Elisabeth Sladen herself. I honestly don't remember which Doctor I had originally intended to have in this fanfiction, but I can really see it working with most of them. Like I said in the author's note: if you like it, drop a review and let me know which Doctor you imagined! I'm honestly curious. Pride: Bill has quickly become one of my favorite companions (second to Sarah Jane), and Nardole is a breath of fresh air. I adore the fact that they've finally returned to an ensemble in the TARDIS, and this fic was a way for me to explore a little bit of the relationship between Nardole and Bill, which I love. At the time of writing, I was intrigued by the show's insinuations that Bill's mum didn't know about her sexual orientation, and I was really hoping they would address that further at some point. But alas... Other: I have many, many stories that are half-written, and hidden away in my digital folders. Many of these I will never post, only keep for my own enjoyment, but some I might eventually post here. As for what you might see here next... I have countless Harry Potter stories, maybe I will post one of those someday... If that happens, piece this together instead: https: //www. /viewstory. php?sid=3699447&i=1 ) (Translated by Ozzmosis) My Favorite Books: Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling Maximum Ride by James Patterson The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman The Maze Runner/Scorch Trials by James Dashner Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson Sherlock Holmes (All 4 novels and 56 short stories!) By Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Shakespeare Stealer/Shakespeare's Scribe/Shakespeare's Spy by Gary Blackwood (I wish there was a fanfiction category for this! It's a must-read for historical fiction lovers) Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut King Lear by William Shakespeare The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh Some of my least favorite books are: The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (Holden infuriated me.) The Incredible Journey by Sheila Burnford (read this when I was twelve; it might have been decent but I had an awful teacher, and all I can remember was struggling to get through each page). Other likes; Pokemon, Doctor Who, basically all televised versions of Sherlock Holmes, Merlin, Firefly, drawing, building, theatre, and science. Other dislikes; Algebra, homework, algebra homework, and those who don't try their best at everything. Favorite place to read/write/draw? My rooftop, even though I can seldom get up there. Great quotes; "I love talking about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about." Oscar Wilde "Write without pay until somebody offers to pay." Mark Twain "Writing is a form of personal freedom. It frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. In the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals." Don Delillo "I don't like to write, but I love to have written." Michael Kanin "What a lot we lost when we stopped writing letters. You can't reread a phone call." Liz Carpenter "Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia" E. L. Doctorow "Don't get it right, just get it written." James Thurber "Whether or not you write well, write bravely." Bill Stout "Writing is the hardest way of earning a living, with the possible exception of wrestling alligators." Olin Miller "I put a piece of paper under my pillow, and when I could not sleep I wrote in the dark." Henry David Thoreau "It took me fifteen years to discover I had no talent for writing, but I couldn't give it up because by that time I was too famous." Robert Benchly "You can be a little ungrammatical if you come from the right part of the country." Robert Frost "Better to write to yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self." Cyril Connoly "I try to leave out the parts that people skip." Elmore Leonard And my all time favorite; "If there is a book you really want to read but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." Toni Morrison I read those quotes when I want to feel inspired. I hope you enjoyed them too. OTHER: Electric Soldier Porygon (seizure episode: watch at own risk! You'll have to put the link back together): watchpokemonepisodes. com/episodes/pokemon-episode-38-electric-soldier-porygon-banned-episode/ DISCLAIMER FOR ALL FANFICTIONS: All recognizable characters/ideas belong to their respective owners. I only own the plot and any possible OC's. I make no profit from writing these fanfictions and am writing them purely for entertainment. |
