Poor Molly. I love her in the show and I love her in your writing, even more if that's possible.

Captured Molly and her feelings perfectly!

This is perfect. Molly's silliness ("we all do silly things", YES WE DO) is so well portrayed in the first half, and I loved the second half even more. How crushed she felt (because she felt gorgeous at the beginning - oh, how I sympathise!) and how no, he is certainly not as smart as he likes to think he is, and everyone's stunned silence.
I love it all.

POOR MOLLY! Dear, you just need, like, fifteen gallons of comfort icecream. I swear, this is exactly how I felt after my date basically ditched me at the homecoming dance. Just go ahead and cry Molly. Damn, you really need some icecream.

That scene...makes me want to simultaneously laugh, cry, scream, fnagirl, and cringe. Love how you wrote the backstory to it all!

Thank you for this lovely (and heartbreaking) story. Everyone knew that Molly had spent a lot of time getting ready for that Christmas, but actually seeing it all written out is a completely different matter.

and that's when he just realizes what she feels for him? unbelievable Mr Holmes! He was truly shocked when he saw the card, and the first time we actually hear him say he was sorry... and to Molly! You did it well painting the whole picture! nice!

I have to agree with you, I think this was a humbling moment for Sherlock. He actually properly apologized. He ACTUALLY said 'sorry' and 'forgive me.' That's huge for him.

Beautiful, fantastic job with this story - despite knowing how the party would end, I still held onto hope for Molly and was just as devastated as I was when watching the show. You wrote her beautifully, kept her perfectly in-character and I loved it. Thanks for writing!

The feels. The feels. The amount of feels is not okay. But, otherwise, really good fanfic.

This is the worst thing Sherlock has done in all the three seasons combined. It is one thing to not love Molly, but to insult her so blatantly was just cruel...even for him. But after season 3 I am forced to think that maybe it is just his jealously which makes him react that way? He is jealous of that red packet in her bag & is wondering who its meant for. Maybe that is his way of trying to know if she means it for a special someone? I am glad Molly doesnt just dissolve into tears & says something to make him feel ashamed of his behaviour.
