First chapter really set up the first few characters. Catelyn as always a women I wouldn't piss out if she were on fire.

Thank you for this very good story. I really liked the plot as well as seeing a very young Jon. Catelyn is making amends, but still I never understood first hand why she was such a bitch to Jon, he was just an innocent child. If anything she should have been angry with her husband.

So glad that bitch lady Dustin died as well as ... but Ramsay is still alive and no doubt his half legitimate brother might die rather sooner than later... I fear he will want revenge and do something bad to Jon... but I really hope not as bad as what happened to Theon... we can’t have that...

This was a terrible story. Wow.

I like this! I always thought Ned put Jon in more danger by not telling him the truth, so it’s interesting to read a story that plays on that. I also thought it was really selfish of him to let Jon join the Nightswatch when he knew Jon was the heir to the throne. If you really think about it, he chose Robert over Jon, protecting his friend’s claim over his ‘son’s’ birthright. This is how it should’ve been, he should’ve given Jon all the facts before letting make that the choice.

It’s kind of sad that they still expect Jon to serve his brother, though. Cat, Ned, Robb- none of them offered to support him if he wanted to reclaim his family’s throne. Obviously, Jon doesn’t care about that right now, but they still expect him to serve Robb in the future, to be subservient to him, and that’s not right either. They’re expecting him to fully support Robb without offering their full support in return.

Anyway, thanks for sharing! Great read. Really well written.
