Hi all! I’m still alive, not dead in a ditch.

The whole reason I’m posting this instead of a new chapter is to apologise for how long it’s been since I last updated and/or posted something. I’ve mentioned it in the last few chapters and one-shots I’ve posted for Tok’ra in Atlantis, but I figured I ought to let everyone know.

Since early May last year (2015) I’ve been dealing with a major shoulder problem – something that nearly a year on I haven’t yet got a diagnosis for – that has made sitting at a computer long-term a painful and admittedly frightening task. I have, with very little success, tried to get a diagnosis of what’s wrong with me so I am now left trying to treat the symptoms. That, sadly, means I am taking enough painkillers to choke an elephant, all of which barely take the edge off the pain I’m in most of the day.

I have my good and my bad days, so in between doing what work I can manage I’ve been slowly writing more for my various stories: Tok’ra in Atlantis; Stargate: A New Path; Lost and Found; Stargate Origins: Camilla Carter, and A Wing and A Ninja, but it’s been slow going since my typing speed has slowed right down.

I fully plan on updating as soon as I can, but with my shoulder as royally mucked as it is, it’s going to take longer than I want it to, so please, I beg, bear with me.

Okay, sorry about the suddenly short page - minus the stories at the bottom - but it's been almost 4/5 years since I updated this thing and I wanted to do a fresh start of it, do it how I think it should look now. So, sorry if this is a major surprise to anyone. I guess I should write a little bit about myself, huh?

Well, I live in the United Kingdom and have lived here for just over 18 years. Not a bad haul I guess. I'm a bit of a Stargate fan (hence my name!) but I like other shows like NCIS and NCIS:LA, the occasional bit of CSI and CSI:NY.

Since I live in the UK, a fair bit of American culture and customs elude me, so I apologise to all my American readers in advance for any incorrect statements/comments and I ask that you try to correct me where I am wrong.

Anyway, my favourite colour is purple, I'm a Marvel fan (Stargate et al.) and I like to write and occasionally draw and knit. Not much else to say really. Just same ol' borin' me.

I've realised that I've written stories and demanded what I want from reviewers. What I am asking for is that you, the reviewer, respects the fact that I don't like receiving Flame reviews and therefore I give warning. I will always allow Guest reviews to be written, but I ask that said guests make their own reviews different to the other guest reviews that I will invariably get for any given story; I do not wish to answer a guest review with the same name as another and the person I'm addressing is not the one who asked for my answer.

Onto, quickly, the subject of Flame reviews/reviewers: I do not like nor do I allow Flames. If I receive a review that has no constructive criticism "I don't like 'x' part, maybe this could be done next time" or "grammer/spelling here is off, I think it's meant to be 'x'" are welcome, but if I receive a review with no constructive criticism, I will warn you ONCE - for all I know it could be me in a bad mood not understanding the tone of your review or any number of other things that could make a perfectly good review into something I see as a Flame - before I report the review and yourself. I have an extremely low tolerance for Flames and Flamers. Consider yourself duly warned.

Current WIPs:

A Wing And A Mutant: This is a story that I have written and re-written over the years. Still a WIP, I've felt the need to share this story and hope that my readers don't mind if I spend a little time on this story. This is a TMNT 2003/MARVEL crossover. I'll add more later when I can write clearly without confusing anyone.

Tok'ra in Atlantis: This story has been with me for over five years and I can say that I have enjoyed almost every minute of it. This is based on the premise of what would have happened had there been one Tok'ra in Atlantis from the start and the rest of the story is almost history. This story is my current Work In Progress and takes up the majority of my time to write for. This will eventually be a John/Teyla fic with other pairings thrown in for good measure.

Stargate Origins: Camilla Carter: I just started working on this story after looking through my early chapters in Tok'ra in Atlantis. For all the readers who have read those first few chapters, this new story is a much better re-write of those early parts of Camilla's life. I plan to go through the majority of SG-1's episodes leading up to the split for the Atlantis arc and hopefully this will be my next pet project to work on.

A New Path: No longer on the wish-list, I've published the first chapter. I'll update this section as times goes on.

Working Wish List of Work:

Various one-shots: I've already had a few wonderful one-shot materials tossed at me from various readers I plan on posting those here alongside my other stories. it would be wonderful to hear if anyone has an idea on what they think should happen. I may not necessarily write all of them, but I do love having ideas thrown my way.

NCIS:LA/SGA crossover: I have no title for this one, but I've got a wonderful idea on what I could be writing to expand on what happens with a mention of G Callen in SGO:CC. While not as high on my priority list, this one will be making an appearance one day when I've got enough of a plot written down somewhere.

Rough Posting Timetable:

30 October 2015: I haven't posted anything lately, so I'm sorry about that. I am currently working on the next chapter of TiA and ANP, but my workload and unexpected health issues have hit me quite hard. I'm hoping to have another chapter for TiA up in the next week or so, but that might be a very loose estimate considering the fact that I'm currently spending the majority of my time either working or trying to deal with health and self-esteem issues.

13 July 2015: My current workload currently eats into my free time and what I want to write, so I can't promise to post/update very often but I do promise that I won't leave any of my fics to hit the fic version of Limbo, I want to see them completed and being read and enjoyed.
