Hi - totally enjoyed this story! (So much so that I slacked on responsibilities to read it with as little interruption as I could manage.)
There were some really awesome parts and words of wisdom in this story. (One, in particular, but I can't remember what it was, but that it 'got' me in the heart.)

For some odd reason, this chapter prompted my mind to wonder why Ahamo was part of the Order - how did he come to be part of something that was there WAY before his balloon ever floated to the OZ? Hmmm...

I really loved this fic. I did not love that you made me cry, but you really wrote the emotions well - well enough to tug at my heartstrings, and I usually never get that emotional reading fics.

This has got to be my favorite Cain/DG fic so far, and I am definitely adding it to my favorites. And now to see if the sequel is up!

REALLY? YOU LEAVE IT AT THAT?! WTH. Except for this very last bit, story was awesome. And since you've been AFK for seven years, this is a courtesy review to anyone who might read this after me. Awesome story. Seriously. A good amount of drama and fluff, neither were overpowering. Just don't read the last bit if you don't want to be left hanging over a cliff.

Love love loved it! Couldn't stop reading! Is it weird that I would love a spin off of this story featuring az and Danny romance? It could be like a snarky "pride and prejudice" romance! I would read the shit out of that! Plus if your feeling angsty you could put in az feeling fragile and guilty for the witchs reign of terror

Ok, so here I am leaving yet ANOTHER review for this. But yesterday, I was reading a story in a different fandom (the hunger games) and there was a scene that reminded me of the goodbye scene in this fic. So much so, I had to come back here and reread that scene again. I wish you had comepleted the sequal, but this is amazing on its own. I still think about it years later, and I can honestly say, other than my own stories, nothing else I have read in fanfiction has really stuck with me. And that includes Buffy/Spike which I was also involved in. Fantastic job, again, and I really hope that you have parlayed this talent you have into a true writing career. You are amazing.
