I am a straight male. An avid cook. A diehard otaku. I lost my sanity many years ago. Such a glorious day it was, the day I discovered anime. There are a small, select few anime I do not like. The massive number of anime I do like... I don't feel like typing them all out. In reality I am a rather boring person and I am not a good conversationalist. I do however have a tendancy to ramble on topics I am knowlegeble on, such as which pairings I like, various facts about animals, why I hate American censorship of anime broadcast on TV, some video games (the ones I own), and cooking to name a few. I have written fanfics for a number of years and never posted or finished them. Nowadays I have more confidence in my ability and am posting. I am horribly inconsistant with updates, as there are times a half-baked idea enters my creative center and demands to be written. It really sucks when this happpens late at night.

I also obsess over manga. All kinds; mostly not those sport orientated. But the list of things I have read and are reading is just as long as the list of anime I enjoy. I almost can't get enough shoujo manga, oddly enough. the shounen manga kinda gets boring after awhile. They are in general much longer than shoujo titles and tend to lose steam in my opinion after they last too long. Of course the romantic comedies are my favorite; especially the ecchi ones. Sadly most shoujo titles, particularly the ones geared toward high scool girls, have exteremely weak female charcters and they always end up with the biggest a--hole around. Especially is someone better is around. The ones intended for a younger (read begining middle school and below) are much more satisfiying.
