Works in Progress (WIP): A Family Affair-Nearing Completion Behind the Smile-Ongoing Dreaming with a Broken Heart-Nearing Completion How Did I Fall In Love With You-Suspended I Blame You-Ongoing Once Upon a Starry Night-Ongoing Life or Something Close-Ongoing The Day the Sky Fell it Ends Tonight-Suspended The Die Has Been Cast-Nearing Completion The Marauders Monday Magazine-Nearing Completion -Stories marked nearing completion are ones with clear endings mapped out and anywhere from three to twelve chapters remaining. -Stories marked ongoing have an indeterminate and lengthy number of chapters remaining. I have no expectations as to when they will wrap up. -Stories marked suspended are on hold pending renewed reader interest. These are stories that received no reviews for their most recent chapter. Due to the nature of my schedule I try to prioritize those stories that have a lot of people waiting on them. If a story receives no reviews for a chapter I will place it on hiatus pending reviews (suspension) or until all other fics have been completed. Lena Pavlova has translated my fic, The Life and Times of Minerva McGonagall into Russian, it can be found here:http:///mfanf/ffshowfic.php?fid=44210 She has also translated my fic, The Life and Time of Sirius Black:http:///mfanf/ffshowfic.php?l=0&fid=44400 And my fic, The Life and Times of Lily Evans Potter:http:///mfanf/ffshowfic.php?l=0&fid=44591 Quotes I enjoy: Jack Sparrow: One question about your business, boy, or there's no use going: This girl... how far are you willing to go to save her? Jack Sparrow: Do us a favor... I know it's difficult for you... but please, stay here, and try not to do anything... stupid. Jack Sparrow: Parleley, parlelellyleloooo, par le nee, partner, par... snip, parsley... "See children? Everything in this room is eatable. Even I'm eatable! But that, my dear children, is called cannibalism; and that is frowned upon in most societies." --Willy Wonka "When people say a knight's job is all glory, I laugh and laugh and laugh. Often, I can stop laughing before they edge away and start talking about soothing drinks." -Lord Raoul Kel: He says he's changed. "The Yamanis say it's better to live with pain. You have to let it roll away like water on a Stone. That way it doesn't have any power over you." "They sound like wonderfull, cheerfull people. Any other warrior stoic arguments?" - Keladry of Mindelan / Neal of Queenscove (Protector of the Small - First Test) Kaddar: "Women aren't up to the discipline of military life." Royal Courier: His Majesty said with all deliberate speed! Lord Wyldon: "You have been told to mind you manners, Page Nealan. I will have an apology for your insolence." "I think as a human being... Men don't think any differently from women- they just make more noise about being able to." Alanna Alanna: "So? He was stupid. If I killed everyone who was stupid I wouldn't have time to sleep." "I doubt it will make much of a difference," said Professor McGonagall coldly, "unless a mad axe-man is waiting outside the doors to slaughter the first into the entrance hall." Ron: Aaaah," said Ron, imitating Professor Trelawney's mysical whisper, "when two Neptunes appear in the sky, it is a sure sign that a midget in glasses is being born, Harry..." Hermione and the twins: Has Ron saved a goal yet?" asked Hermione. Oliver Wood: "Bad news, Harry. I've just been to see Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt. She – er got a bit shirty with me. Told me I'd got my priorities wrong. Seemed to think I cared more about winning the Cup than I do about staying alive. Just because I told her I didn't care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the Snitch first." Don - picks up paper airplane off floor Who made this? Larry:You know that it's considered unsolvable? "Larry, I'm going to give you the same advise I've given to all the geniuses I know ... don't be an idiot."-Alan "I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no way Paper can beat Rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear it up in two seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, "oh, I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you." |
