(Insert rest of Wendy's quote from Gravity Falls) No, you aren't imagining things. You somehow found your way to my profile. https://www.fanfiction .net/forum/One-Piece-Writer-s-Fo rum/178864/: Please join our forum. You don't even have to be just a One Piece fan. You can be a potential friend or potential enemy. I don't know about you, but I prefer the former. I can be a pretty cool guy or I can give you a bad time. Now that we have introductions out of the way. Time for some things I want to include on my profile. All my stories I have now do not represent me as a writer now. Trust me. I'm wiser and learned more. A message that just doesn't get out there enough: Seriouly, comment on people's stories. It's not being a review whore. People work really hard to bring you those stories you love so much and when they don't receive any reviews they might feel ignored, then spend less time getting out chapters. I'm not saying you have to give a resonating soul review. Even comments like " Great job" are acceptable. As long as it's showing appreciation. Rants section: Love Redeems I wouldn't say that this bothers me a lot. It only bothers me when it's poorly executed. Seriously, in most stories people will have a well known villain that despises everyone and everything, become good because of some braud with huge breast. I don't believe it works like that. You have to have more build up than that. In my opinion it depends who the two characters are and how much influence they have over each other. Imagine Orochimaru and Sakura starting to feel some attraction to each other. That could end in one or two ways. One, they break it off because it couldn't work. Two, Orochimaru having more influence over Sakura would turn her evil. Let's try Luffy and Akainu; him turning Luffy evil would actually make sense. Seeing he is the first villain to break Luffy's will. To be honest there's more ways to redeem someone with something else other then love. You could have them do some good deeds and show them they get good things in return. Have them receive hardcore karma for their misdeeds. These are all other ways to redeem other than love. OC stories Honestly I'm getting sick of these stories. Manly in the Total Drama and Dragonball fandom. In the Total Drama fandom that's all you ever see anymore. OC story this and OC story that. But you really wanna know my main grips with them? They NEVER get finished/continued. We get one chapter, two if you're lucky. They are made by people who can't write for their lives. Next, I write real stories that only get 1-2 comments. While those OC stories get 60. That's right fucking 60 comments over a chapter that isn't even a chapter. It's a application. Finally, they put Chris, Chef, and Don in the character captcha. The story doesn't even revolve around them. In the Dragonball fandom OC stories are all you ever see anymore. Everybody wants to pair their oc with Gohan. Everybody wants to make their oc a Saiyan that just so happened to also survive without a realistic backstory to how. What happened to the good stories? Guardian, Appule's Insurrection, Break Through The Limit, Bringer of Death, Enemy Becomes Student, and more. Instant Love I really, really hate seeing this happen. Love at first sight doesn't exist. Real love takes time and effort. I could understand lust at first sight because that's just about anyone when they enter their teen years. But people have to understand the difference between lust and love. If you have love at first sight happen there's no chemistry between the characters and makes it hard to root for them. False reviews: Hey guys, if someone is asking if they do a good job or not. Please don't tell them they are if you are seeing a butt load of mistakes. They can't improve on quality unless you tell them otherwise. Now know I'm not saying be a dick abound it. Goku Being a Bad Father: Sometimes I wonder if I watched a whole nother version of DBZ. Why do so many writers depict Gohan or Goten hating or resenting Goku for being a "horrible" fathers? He was never a bad father; he never stopped showing how much he loved or was proud of his children. People need to stop projecting their feelings onto the characters. Goku couldn't always be there for them because he had the world to look out for too. Which his loved ones were apart of. Gohan Being "Ruined": Sigh, this really bothers me too. I'm going to try to keep it simple as possible. Gohan never liked to fight. Even when he was against Cell he wanted to end it in peace not violence. Just because he didn't come out the unholy badass you wanted him to be doesn't me he was ruined. Gohan isn't Goku, Vegeta, or Piccolo; he's Gohan. He wanted to be a scholar. That was his choice when Goku died against Cell and his choice again when Buu was defeated. So just because he didn't live up to the podium you put him on doesn't mean he was ruined. Like I said Gohan is Gohan. ChiChi being a horrible mother and person: Do people even try to look from point of view? First off she's a great mother. People say she's terrible for giving her son a good education. Really? It's not like she's starve them or abuses them. Fuck she single handily raised Goten for seven years straight. I agree she can be controlling and demanding sometimes, but what mother isn't? She's not a horrible person. Just because she puts her family before the Earth doesn't make her a bad person. She just cares about her family more and that's really not selfish. Amazon Straw Hats: Isn't dead. Just on hiatus. Possible Future Stories: Possibilities Are Endless: In a world where Piccolo killed Frieza. The world has changed for better or for worse. Darkness in the Light: Frieza defied all his odds and defeated the legendary Super Saiyan. With this cruel twist of fate can the universe survive at the hands of the frost demon? Or will that small burst of light forever burn out? Never Ending Sea: Luffy grew up in the Baratia. With new influences and surroundings at order. Luffy makes his mark on the world with the help of a certain chef. Hold on Tight: All because he was in the wrong place in the wrong time, Yamcha is taken to space and put against foes he can't hold a candle against. Vegeta sees him as a let down. Nappa calls him the new Raditz. Raditz calls him his mate. Can Yamcha survive this nightmare? Until Dawn: Going against his gut Krillin assist Zarbon in his battle against Vegeta. |
