The Newest Chapter of Naruto: The Stormbringer has arrived! And I have no decent excuse to explain why this chapter is so late. So, sorry about it. Really.
Chapter 8:
8 AM: Training Ground 7
"Must... Not... Kill... Sensei..." Naruto grumbled, pacing in the field.
"Hn." Grunted Sasuke neutrally.
"A-ano, p-perhaps he had to help an older lady c-cross the street on his way h-here, and ran across a b-black cat, so h-he had to t-take the long w-way around" Hinata stammered out.
Naruto stopped his pacing to look at her. "If what you just said turns out to be his excuse, I'll challenge you-know-who to a fight." He said with a dead-pan.
Hinata just smiled at the challenge. "Deal."
Sasuke just shook his head, sighing. "I could be using this time training." he muttered out loud to nobody in particular.
Naruto just laughed. "Yeah, me too."
Hinata stood up from her sitting position and looked in the direction of Konoha. "H-here he comes."
Kakashi sensei then appeared in a shunshin, just as Hinata finished speaking. "Ohayo, my cute little students. Sorry about being late, by the way. I had to help an older lady cross the street on my way here, but then I ran across a black cat, so I had to take the long way around to the training ground." He paused seeing Naruto in a fetal position on the floor, with a dark aura around him. "Naruto, why are you sitting like that?"
"I'm never promising anything based on her predictions again." He muttered.
Kakashi sweat-dropped. "Okay?" He sighed. "Well, since your test, I've gathered some data about you guys and I've discussed some options with the Hokage, regarding your training and our specialization." He looked at Naruto. "The main decision revolves around you, Naruto."
Naruto cocked his head in confusion. "What do you mean, revolves around me? I know that I'm super cool and everything-"
Sasuke snorted, "Because that's how I would describe you"
Ignoring him entirely, Naruto continued, "but why me?"
Kakashi smiled at the blonde. "Because of your henge. Transform into Iruka for me please."
"Whatever." Naruto formed the Ram seal and with an eruption of smoke, a duplicate of Iruka stood looking at Kakashi. "Now what?"
Kakashi smiled. "Now, Hinata" He said, causing the heiress to jump and look at him. "Using the Byakugan, what can you see on Naruto?"
She frowned, and activated her doujutsu, enticing a gasp of surprise from her. "I-it's as if he was Iruka-s-sensei!"
Kakashi eye-smiled. "Exactly. Naruto has the exact same problem with the Henge as he does the uses too much chakra and it backfires on him. Only, this time it backfires in a good way. Unless an enemy ninja is a sensor or has a doujutsu that sees chakra, your henge is actually perfect. The normal henge, while convincing, is nothing more than an illusion, while Naruto's Henge is a true transformation."
Sasuke frowned. "How is that even possible?"
"I have no idea. However, this does solidify my decision." Kakashi said, fishing out his orange book. "Based on your unique ability, Hinata's eyes and Sasuke's stealth, Hokage-sama has decided that we will be an assassination and infiltration squad, with a focus on information gathering." Opening to the newest chapter, he continued. "Therefore, you will not be taking any D-rank missions directly, as you will be trained into the dust by the foremost in stealth, infiltration, and assassination that Konoha has to offer. Me. D-rank missions will be taken by squads of Naruto clones, with everyone splitting the pay." He scoffed to himself. "Lucky brats. D-rank missions may be easy, but they were dreadfully boring." He looked to his squad to gauge a reaction from them. "Are you prepared now?"
After a solid round of heads nodding, he also nodded. "Good. Now, tell me, what is the first thing about stealth that you must be aware of?"
Sasuke grunted. "Environment, of course."
"Good. Next?"
"Easy." Chirped Naruto. "Target. His defenses and his weaknesses."
"Correct." The cyclops said, flipping another page. "Now Hinata. Final thing you must know?"
"Execution of the t-target. How q-quiet do you have t-to make it."
"Excellent." Kakashi said. "You paid attention to the lectures in school. But," He closed his book to show his attention to the subject of assassination. "Do you guys know HOW to accomplish these things?" He looked to Sasuke. "What is stealth when we're not in a forest, but in a crowded marketplace, where standing still is the opposite of stealth?" He looked at Naruto. "How do you find the weaknesses in the target's defences when the target is an unknown?" He turned to Hinata. "What happens when you kill the target, but he gets back up and laughs at you?" He faced away from all of them. "This and much more I will be teaching you. But first." He turned around and threw kunai at their feet, causing them to backpedal a foot or so. "You will learn tree walking. Then water walking. These are essential skills for a ninja to have. We will pick up infiltration once you can spar on the water's surface for an hour without falling in."

A few weeks later
Panting, Naruto drug himself out of the water, drenched from head to toe. "Fucking... Hell... Sensei..." He gasped, sprawling himself out on the shore of training ground 7. "What kind of training was that?"
"That?" Asked the cyclops. "That was a toned down version of anbu training."
Naruto would have glared at Kakashi, but he was too exhausted. "Why me though?" He looked across the ground to where Sasuke and HInata were, while equally drenched, not nearly as exhausted. "Why make me do this intense of training and leave them out?"
Kakashi glanced at the blonde. "Because you being a jinchuuriki and an Uzumaki give insane amounts of stamina. Most of all, you won't give up. This is both a boon and a curse, keep in mind."
Naruto grunted, ignoring his aching legs to stand up. 'Dad, did you do this kind of training?'
Minato laughed at his son 'No, I never was in Anbu training. Though I might have had I not become Hokage.'
"Kakashi-sensei, what n-next?" Hinata asked. "And why did N-Naruto-kun get a longer s-session?" She asked after another moment.
"I'm glad you asked, Hinata." Kakashi eye-smiled. "Naruto has a specific role on this team, just like the two of you." He looked at Sasuke. "Sasuke, your stealth skills in the academy were top of the class, just like most of your other skills." Sasuke smiled at that. "Due to that, we will be abusing that in regards to your killing potential. I will personally teach you how to kill silently with no more effort than twitching your finger." He looked at Hinata. "Hinata, as a Hyuga, you have eyesight beyond what most of the world could hope to achieve. With that, you will be our information specialist, gathering data around us as we go." He flipped a page, looking at his book once more. "I realize that you cannot have your Byakugan active all the time, so this will be done intermittently while on missions." He flipped another page. "Naruto has a unique role as well. He will be our infiltration specialist, a master of disguise. Hold on," He paused as Naruto was about to jump into the air in excitement. "I told you, when we started, your Henge is painfully obvious to any decent sensor, so I will be teaching you non-chakra reliant infiltration as well. Some of this may seem a lot to take in right now, but I trust that you will come to understand and appreciate this later." He shut his book, giggling a bit before looking at his squad. "These are your roles, your specialties, but I will cover a bit of everything with everyone to make sure that you guys are well rounded. As to what we will do now, Hinata..."
He pulled out a mission scroll. "We have missions to do now. I am starting you on C-rank missions because I am here, and I trust in the training and teamwork you have shown me. Now this mission is to guard a bridge builder on his way back home from thugs and bandits, but our Hokage isn't the Hokage for nothing. This is actually an assassination mission, which is why I picked it for our team."
Sasuke blinked. 'Already?' "The target?"
"His name is Gato, of Gato shipping, and this is what we know about his operation..."

A/N: Like I said above, I have no decent excuse as to why I hadn't got this chapter out before. I could tell you how many times I deleted this chapter because I didn't like it. I could tell you about how my military duties suck up my time. But I won't. You deserve better than that. Like me starting the next chapter. Which I will now do.
