Alright, so you've probably been wondering where I've been, I wouldn't blame you. So here's pretty much what's going on, I started my Strawberry Gashes reboot back in 2014 when I had very recently turned 18. A lot has changed for me in the last few years, I'm a completely different writer from how I used to be. I don't think the earlier chapters of Strawberry Gashes are badly written, per se, there's a lot of mushy plot points and stuff that I really regret including in the story. Truth be told, I've been thinking about this for a while and that's part of the reason why I haven't been updating much since early last year. As much as I would be okay with rebooting Strawberry Gashes again and fixing all that crap I really don't like, I think that would be kind of unfair, so here's what's going to happy. I can't guarantee I'll be updating any time soon, though I can at least guarantee sometime within the next year, but what I am going to be doing is going back through the old chapters, editing them again, and changing a few, minor details here and there. When I think about some of the choices I've made regarding that story, I can't help but cringe, hopefully some of these edits will help me feel better about the story as a whole.

NOTE (for And people call me lucky HA!): The thing is, I don't want to leave this fic unfinished. I had a good idea behind it, and I know there are readers out there invested in it, but as a person I've changed a lot since when I first wrote that story. A lot of the content in there was vastly inappropriate, I won't mention anything, but my mishandling of yaoi should explain a lot. In addition, since the last chapter of that fic, I've grown up a lot and matured, incest makes me incredibly uncomfortable. It's not just a kink or just fiction and I don't feel comfortable writing about it. What does this mean for the fic? Honestly...I don't know. To write this fic, I'm going to rewrite EVERYTHING from top to bottom and I'm not sure if all of the readers will be happy with that. The entire fic will essentially change, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens with it. If I'm being honest, the likelihood of me continuing this fic is slim.

NOTE (for Devil Chasers): Thinking the title is stupid? It's a work in progress. Thinking the summary is vague as hell? That's because it is! Thinking the pairings are all kinds of bizarre? You'd be right on that front, too! Allow me to offer a bit more background for those interested. We've all heard of the idea of the Jinchuuriki's banding together or Naruto, specifically, banding them together. Well, that's essentially what this story is about. The Jinchuuriki's banding together, for the most part, through the teamwork of Naruto, Gaara, Sakura, and eventually, Fu as well. As for the pairings...well, I personally think crack pairings are life and these pairings are severely underrated, so here they are. Of course they'll fit perfectly in the canon of the story. I have no intention of posting chapters for this story until Strawberry Gashes is complete.
