As Sakura laid in the snow, she idly recognized the sloshing of her organs as the man she once loved shoved his blade repeatedly through them. Her hands twitched, the last remnants of healing chakra sparking on her fingertips. It was useless, even if her attacker decided to leave her be she didn't have enough chakra left to heal the wounds he'd afflicted. Still, she couldn't help but wish he would leave anyway. At least then she could enjoy her last few moments in peace.

"Does it hurt?" Sasuke taunted. Sakura looked into his red stained eyes, actually seeing the insanity bleeding into them. He'd been alone for too long, maybe he wasn't even Sasuke anymore. Sakura opened her mouth to give a sassy retort, just to have one final hoorah, but instead of speaking as she'd intended, she spat up a huge glob of blood onto the front of her shirt.

She thought momentarily that it sucked that she had to die with the taste of blood on her lips. Something tasty would've been nice; she allowed her memories to drift to the last time she'd eaten. It hadn't been much, just some jerky. No good. Umeboshi dumplings, she tried to think of the last time she'd eaten umeboshi dumplings.

To be honest, Sasuke's blade no longer pained her. Her body had gone into shock minutes before, not permitting her body to endure any more pain. All she could hear was the gushing of her guts and her own labored breaths.

'I feel warm,' Sakura tried to say, but all that came out were pants. Not entirely surprising. Her body was attempting to preserve energy in a last ditch effort to cling to life. Sakura smiled up at Sasuke. She would die, that much was true, but she didn't feel fear. No, just now she realized how truly at ease she felt. Like being covered in a wool blanket and napping by the fire. Sakura's eyelids began to droop.

"Dying already? Always such a weakling," Sasuke's words barely registered as the sleep of death finally devoured her. Sasuke was a fool, such a stupid fool. In her final glimpses, she'd seen his beautiful face contorted in a way that could be interpreted as regretful. Perhaps sad. Indeed in the end, as everyone had predicted, Uchiha Sasuke's revenge had consumed him. Absorbed him enough to murder someone in cold blood he might've once considered a friend.

Come with me, a voice whispered to Sakura's subconscious mind. Had she eyes to snap open, Sakura would've done so. Was she hearing a higher sentient being? She'd never believed much in the afterlife, but she'd never been outright opposed to it. Was she ascending to a higher plane of existence?

I don't know how… Sakura responded to the voice. There was silence, and for a moment Sakura panicked. What if she was wrong? What if she was in what was called hell? Forever to float around in darkness trapped within her own thoughts for an eternity.

You exist. Start by remembering that, the voice demanded. Just what on earth did that mean? She knew she existed. She wasn't a fool. Taking a deep breath through a mouth that no longer existed, Sakura focused her thoughts on what the voice instructed her to do.

I exist, she assured herself, I'm real…I'm here. I belong. I exist. Whatever she did seemed to work in some weird way, because a light began to pinprick her vision. Was this what they called a light at the end of the tunnel? Where was she headed? Heaven, hell, the womb, nowhere. Sakura couldn't be sure. The light grew brighter and brighter until Sakura wasn't even sure if what she was seeing was light anymore. It could've been darkness. All semblance of reality was warped in that strange luminescence. Then suddenly as though someone snapped their fingers, the light dimmed and Sakura found herself surrounded by doors of many kinds.

Sakura collapsed to her hands and knees, speaking of which, how did she even have hands and knees if she supposedly died? Just what was happening to her? Perhaps it had all been some vibrant dream, or maybe…

Sakura pressed her hands together in the tiger hand sign and shouted, "KAI!"

The world around her didn't ebb away; it didn't even chip or give her any sort of indication that it was in her imagination. That left only two options, and she wasn't sure which was worse. Sakura assumed a defensive position and carefully observed her surroundings. An endless amount of doors seemed to encircle her; all of them decorated differently. Some of the doors looked exceedingly plain or similar, but several doors truly stood out.

"Where the hell am I?" Sakura muttered to herself. She walked particularly close to a burnt orange colored door with some odd symbols written upon it. She could feel the tragedy and carnage radiating off of it; it smelled of blood and human sacrifice. She scrunched her eyebrows together and took a tentative step towards the door. If so much pain and suffering was behind that door, then she had a duty to help.

A pang of fear rang through her chest the closer she crept to the door. What if nothing alive existed behind it?

Careful now, you don't want to make a mistake. Wherever you choose to go, you'll be stuck there, that same voice from before explained. Sakura stumbled back, away from the door, and almost ran backwards into another one. The door her back almost rammed into practically oozed with valiance and candy sweetness. It was enough to bring the taste of sugar to Sakura's lips.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Sakura shouted. She couldn't sense another soul in that weird world of doors, so who was talking to her? "Get out of my head!"

No response. Sakura gritted her teeth in annoyance. The only option was to think through the situation logically. Her last memory was of Sasuke's face as he dismembered her, so what happened in between the time she lost consciousness and arrived in the world of doors? She remembered seeing a light, but nothing more than that. Sakura slowly walked and weaved around the doors, there had to be a way out or somewhere she was supposed to be. As she walked, her shoulder gently grazed one of the doors. Memories of a life she never had and a world that didn't exist violently assaulted her. Her head felt heavy, like it was about to explode.

Breathing heavily, Sakura leaned against the door that had just given her a strange vision. What the hell had that been? What kind of sick place was this? She grabbed onto the doorknob for leverage, but before she could get her bearings an intense light burned her cornea. What was it this time?

YOU'VE CHOSEN TO OPEN THE DOOR TO A WORLD OF JUSTICE! WELCOME, HARUNO SAKURA! An intense voice seemed to reverberate through her eardrums. All Sakura could think before everything went dark was that she hadn't opened the door. All she'd done was touch the knob.

Sakura gasped as she very nearly burst out of bed. Her breathing was labored and heavy, but she very quickly calmed herself down. She took in a couple of deep breaths, reviewing the odd dream that had startled her out of sleep. She suddenly froze and felt her brain try to process new information. She wasn't in her room. She wasn't in any place recognizable, and even though her surroundings didn't seem particularly dire, she still had no idea where she was and how she'd got there. Sakura took a deep breath and attempted to draw forth upon her chakra.

Nothing.

Now Sakura was panicking. She threw the blankets off of her form and rolled out of bed.

Calm down, will you? I can explain what's happening to you, but you can't freak out, a voice told her. The voice, different from the one she heard in her dream.

Who are you? What do you want? What's going on? Where am I? Sakura assaulted the voice with questions.

Easy there, Sakura, one question at a time…oh, and you can quit with the defensive position. You're not in any danger, the voice explained. Sakura pursed her lips, could she even believe the voice in her head? Maybe it was some sort of jutsu set out to trick her. You're not in Konoha anymore. That 'dream' wasn't a dream at all, it really happened and that door that you opened was a door to another reality, the one you're in now. It didn't even occur to her how formal the voice was being by using her given name without her consent.

I didn't open any doors, Sakura protested, still refusing to drop her defensive position, I touched the doorknob! How did that send me here? Speaking of which, where is here?

Guess that was close enough. And welcome to Tokyo, Japan, more specifically the Shinjuku Prefecture. It's where the plot of this world takes place, at least for right now. Lucky you, getting thrown right in the middle of it. I suppose that's how it is for people like us, though, the voice replied.

For a moment, Sakura lamented that the voice speaking to her wasn't a physical being so she could beat some sense into them. The voice seemed a bit clearer now, so she was sure that whomever was speaking to her was male, but she didn't have any other information aside from that. It almost seemed familiar.

That's a cute story, now why don't you tell me where I really am.

Ouch, I must say I'm hurt you don't trust me. I'm afraid to tell you, Sakura, but I am being honest with you. You can ask anyone you like here in the area, though you may get some strange looks.

I don't know why I'm doing this, speaking with a voice in my head. I must be crazy.

It's only about as crazy as everything else you've experienced. Look, I know this is hard to take in, but I'll try to explain to you what you are and what's going on to the best of my ability.

Do you just expect me to believe what you say?

That's really up to you, Sakura, but understand me when I say you'll be better off if you just listen. Whether or not you choose to believe me is up to you, you'll soon see that I'm right.

Sakura weighed her options. She was in a strange place, speaking with a voice inside her head that told her she was in another world. She'd either finally gone insane, or there was a whole lot more to this than the voice was telling her. It was all a matter of whether or not to trust him.

Sakura clenched her teeth, Fine, tell me what you have to say. Then I'll decide whether or not to believe you.

That's better than what I was expecting, to be honest, but I'm not complaining. You're inside a world completely different from the one you resided in before. People like you and I were born with gifts to travel in between worlds. Most people go their whole lives without knowing of this power but when people like us die young we are given access to other worlds where we can reside. It's just like living all over again, all you have to do is pick up where the dummy left off. The dummy is just another version of you, ripe for replacing. The place you are now is a country called Japan, specifically the Kanto area and, well; we'll just have to find you some history books so you can better understand, but it's a place unlike Konoha. Here there's no such thing as ninjas or chakra; it's a completely different place…another grand use for those history books!

So I did go insane.

You're not insane, Sakura. Look, I know it's hard to believe but as life goes on I'm sure you'll begin to understand.

Okay, fine, let's say I believe you for just a moment here. Who are you?

I'm a…friend. Look, it's better if you don't know my name. It's just easier this way.

Now you're clamming up when it comes to you and your identity. Can you not understand why I don't trust you?

It's not because I don't want you to know, Sakura, it's just because it's better for your sake that you don't know.

Okay, fine, then what should I call you?

How about Nakama?

Kind of a strong word to use for someone I don't even know the identity of, but fine, I'll play your game.

Alright, now that that's settled. Do you remember anything about when you touched the door?

Maybe…I was a student in some school, so I guess I must be smart. Do all people pursue levels of higher education here?

No, but most do. Continue, try to remember.

Yeah, if there are no ninjas here then there would be no point in not going to school until late in life. Okay then, I was a normal girl. I had a couple friends and a…family, a brother, a mother, and a father.

Yeah, that's right, keep going.

But something changed recently in this world…something bad started happening. Kira, whatever that is.

Kira is a person who's killing criminals, but no one knows how. Many criminals have been dying from mysterious causes recently so they call the individual 'Kira', a god.

But you said they were a person…?

That's what the police think, and of course some people, but the question is who and how.

And the police, they're trying to catch this murder god?

Yes.

Why would they do that when he is eradicating criminals?

Regardless of who the victim is, it's still a crime, and some people think that everyone has a right to a fair trial.

But I'm confused, wouldn't the police want justice?

They do want justice, they want justice for everyone. Look, do you think all criminals are incapable of remorse or incapable of changing? And what about the families of these criminals, do they not deserve justice for the killer? It's a never ending cycle. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but there's more to this than just black and white. You should know better than anyone.

I'm not convinced. Does this Kira person only kill criminals?

For now, yes, but who's to say they won't start taking out people that get in their way?

We should give them the benefit of the doubt.

I agree. Besides, it's up to you how you want to pursue your time here. You just need to know all the facts.

All of them, huh? Then who is Kira?

I can't give that away. You seem to be smart, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Okay then, anything else I should know about this world that you're claiming exists?

After all that, and you still don't believe me.

Yes.

Fine, can't say I wasn't just like you. Do you remember the names of your friends and family?

Uhmm, Sakura thought back to when she'd touched the door. It had gone by so quickly, but a few names came to mind. Shinozaki Rika, Watanabe Honoka, Toudou Kenosuke, and Yagami Light. Those are my…friends?

Yes, what about your family?

I'm afraid I only recall my immediate family. My mother is Haruno Akemi, my father is Daisuke, and my brother is Ryuu, correct?

Correct. Don't worry, you shouldn't need to know the names of anyone else, and I'm sure the names will come to you if you do.

Okay, so I've humored you. Do you still expect me to believe what you say?

Who knows, why don't you go explore and find out?

Sakura frowned. What if it was a trap? What if when she opened that door, there would be a horde of shinobi waiting to rip her limb from limb. Sakura never had a chance to make the choice, because a woman burst through the door causing Sakura to jump back and brace herself.

"Sakura-chan, I can't believe you're awake for once!" the woman exclaimed. Her smile was huge and her clothes didn't allow any room for weaponry. Sakura released her defense position, but stayed alert.

"H-Haruno Akemi…?" Sakura clarified. The woman raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Of course, dear, now hurry up and get ready! You can't stay in your pajamas all day, you've got school to get to!" the woman chirped.

"O-Okay, Okaa-san," Sakura responded. The woman smiled brightly and patted Sakura's hair, causing her to flinch.

"Are you alright, Sakura-chan? You're acting a bit jumpy," the woman, apparently her mother, asked.

"I'm fine, just had a bad dream is all," Sakura replied.

"If you say so…" her mother replied. "Make sure you get ready!"

"Yeah, o-of course," Sakura said. Haruno Akemi, a woman of red hair and standing at a height of 5'4, said nothing more and left her daughter to prepare herself for the day. Once 'her mother' was no longer in sight, Sakura slumped to the ground. It had to be one complex genjutsu, it had to be, and the voice in her head was the one who cast it.

Unfortunately, that's not true. Now go on and face the day, Sakura-chan, you've got school to get to.

Sakura ground her teeth in annoyance; Nakama was a really big pain in the ass, whoever he was. However, Sakura considered herself to be a great judge of character and Nakama didn't seem to be a danger to her in the slightest. At least not now. And she wasn't going to find answers just staying idle. She couldn't reach her chakra reserves, so she had to do something. Sakura stood up. She would play along.

Sakura looked through the wardrobe of what Nakama called her dummy. A lot of the articles were incredibly odd looking, but a few were more familiar than others. What would be appropriate to wear to school? Hesitantly, Sakura grabbed a thin, black silk shirt and some shorts. She recognized the short material to be denim, but she'd never seen much of it before.

Wrong, you can't wear that to school. You have to wear your uniform. Besides, it's too cold out to dress like that anyway, Nakama informed her.

Uniform, huh? What does that look like?

It's hanging on the hook over there.

Sakura turned her head to see two odd looking garments. A mostly black, long-sleeved shirt with a hood-ish thing and a ribbon tied around the front, and a black skirt.

It's called sailor-fuku, in case you were curious.

I wasn't.

Sakura quickly found the proper undergarments and changed into the odd looking garment. She admitted that it didn't look terrible on her, but she couldn't say she was fond of it either. Nakama continued to instruct her on what else she needed to wear, apparently knee socks were important, and he pointed out the right shoes to her. It irked Sakura that she needed to rely on a voice in side her head, but what other choice did she have? She finished the rest of what she assumed was her 'dummy's' morning routine and went downstairs.

"That was fast," her mother said, sounding impressed. Sakura just nodded. She was so used to getting ready quickly that it was almost an art form. Apparently her dummy wasn't quite so fortunate. "Anyway, all of your reference books are on the table. Don't forget them."

"Okay," Sakura responded. "Thanks."

Sakura assumed it would be incredibly odd if she asked when school started and where it was, so Sakura simply collected her books from the table, gave a little nod to her mother, and made her way towards the door.

"Where are you headed, Sakura-chan? You haven't eaten breakfast yet!" her mother scolded. Sakura tensed up, her real mother had been the same way, insisting Sakura eat properly. Sakura closed her eyes and forced the memories away. It hurt too much to think about.

"Oh right," Sakura responded. She placed her books down by what she assumed was her bag and then walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat.

"Sakura-chan…?" her mother asked in confusion. "I'm already making breakfast."

Sakura blinked and looked to the side to see that her mother was, indeed, making something. A light blush dusting her cheeks, Sakura sat down at the table and waited for her mother to finish cooking. She just wanted to leave as soon as possible and explore the genjutsu world.

Not a genjutsu, I'll remind you.

Sakura ignored Nakama and watched as her mother delivered her plates of food. It looked and smelled decent enough, and Sakura had to make a conscious effort not to compare her real mother's food.

"Eat up, Sakura-chan," her mother chirped. Sakura did as she was told and shoveled food down her throat at what her mother regarded as an, apparently, alarming speed. Just as Sakura was finishing the last of her miso soup and thanking the heavens that at least the food of this place called 'Japan' was the same as her home, a boy a few years younger than her came bumbling down the stairs. "Ryuu-chan! Just wait a moment and I'll fix you your breakfast!"

Ryuu, however, was not paying attention to their overly chipper mother. Instead he was staring at Sakura with a suspicious look.

"You're up early," Ryuu commented. Why was it such an odd thing that she was up early? She woke up early all the time back in Konoha, in fact, she rather liked getting up early.

"I guess," Sakura replied cautiously. What if they realized she wasn't actually their family member, but an imposter? Perhaps they would attack her…

Or, you know, call the police.

Ryuu shrugged and turned away from Sakura, much to her relief. She didn't like being under their scrutiny. Once Sakura had taken the final bites of her meal, she stood up and bowed lightly.

"Thanks for the meal," Sakura said, causing both Ryuu and her mother to stare at her in poorly veiled confusion.

"You're acting awfully polite today, Sakura-chan," her mother noted. "Are you sure you're feeling all right?"

"I'm okay, sorry for worrying you," Sakura responded, trying to sound as casual as possible.

"If you say so…" her mother sighed. "Don't forget about cram school tonight."

Sakura tried not to let her confusion show and instead just nodded in response to her mother. She quickly gathered her bag, books, and bento and was on her way.

That was stressful…

Tell me about it. Next time try to act a little less stiff.

Leave me alone.

How will you get to school without me?

Fine, how do I get there?

See, a little kindness goes a long way.

Within no time at all, Sakura was nearing the front gates of a huge building. She masterfully veiled her look of utter wonder. It was nothing like the Academy back home, that was for sure. Sakura walked inside the school, tightening her scarf as she went. She wasn't quite sure which classroom she was supposed to go to, but she assumed she'd find it eventually.

Wait, Sakura, you need to change your shoes.

Why?

You're going to be indoors so you have to wear your indoor shoes.

That's kind of stupid.

Still, Sakura approached what Nakama informed her was a shoe locker and opened it to reveal two white shoes. With a sigh, she removed the brown loafers she'd been wearing before and changed into the white shoes. It didn't feel all that different, so she didn't quite get the point of it. No use complaining, though. She supposed some households back in Konoha required something similar. Continuing on, Sakura finally managed to find her classroom. Not many people were around so her family hadn't been exaggerating when they said she was early. Shrugging, Sakura was about to take a seat near the back when, once again, Nakama stopped her.

Assigned seats, Sakura.

It made perfect sense to her, so she wasn't sure why she hadn't thought of that one. Begrudgingly, Sakura asked Nakama where her seat was located. She hated relying on him so much, especially considering he was probably some evil villain who'd taken over her mind with a genjutsu.

I'm still not a genjutsu.

Ignoring him, Sakura sat down in her proper seat and took out her reference books. She doubted she had much skill in whatever they taught in these schools. At the academy she'd been taught all sorts of things, like fighting skills and theories, but as for what some people considered true academics she was still in the dark. She knew the basics of Mathematics and she was flawless in Japanese, but everything else was submerged in darkness. She assumed that she needed to start learning as quickly as possible if she was going to even begin to understand what they taught in class.

Sure enough, when Sakura opened one of her reference books it was just like a foreign language. Sakura gulped and immediately began running through the steps highlighted in a particular problem.

"It's just like you to study like this, Sakura-chan, but getting here so early is a surprise," a female voice teased. Sakura looked up to see a girl with waist length reddish brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. The girl was sneering down at her with a nasty grin. She sort of reminded Sakura of Ino.

Shinozaki Rika, you know, for your benefit.

"Good morning, Rika-chan," Sakura greeted. She tried to sound as natural as possible, with moderate success.

"Good morning, what're you doing here so early, Sakura-chan, you know, aside from studying, that is," Rika teased.

Sakura shrugged, "I woke up early."

"That's new, but I guess there's a first time for everything. This wouldn't have anything to do with a boy, would it?" Rika asked. Definitely like Ino. At least that meant it would be easier to interact with her.

"Nope, just had a bad dream, is all," Sakura replied.

"Okay, now that make sense. Haruno Sakura falling for a cute boy? That hasn't happened since middle school."

"Nope, now it's just average boys."

"Oh, haha, you're so funny."

Sakura smiled at Rika. It would be nice to have something similar to home. "I know, I'm a real comedian."

"So what's all the studying for, anyway? You already got into To-Oh, what else do you need to study for?"

"It's just review," Sakura responded. Rika shrugged.

"I would've aced all my classes if I'd studied half as hard as you, Sakura-chan. You're gonna make a great doctor."

Sakura's heart nearly stopped at that. So her dummy was aiming to be a doctor, huh? It felt almost nice knowing that.

"Thanks, Rika-chan," Sakura grinned. At this point, far more people had entered the classroom, forcing Sakura to assume that class was about to start.

"I'd better get to my seat," Rika said, leaving Sakura alone again.

"Ne, Sakura-chan, you look funny today," a voice said from beside her. Sakura looked over to see a girl with incredibly pale skin, almost translucent, along with black hair and black eyes. She was cute looking, but a little creepy.

"O-oh, you think so?" Sakura replied.

Watanabe Honoka, you're welcome.

"Yeah, you look…different. Weird, it's almost like you're a different person," Honoka admitted.

This girl is honest to a fault and too smart for her own good.

Yeah, that's Honoka for you. I guess that's why your dummy liked her.

"I hope you mean that in good way," Sakura replied. Honoka smiled eerily at Sakura.

"Yeah, it's in a good way," Honoka said. Without another word, Honoka faced towards the front. No more than a few seconds later the teacher walked through the door. She would have to be wary of Honoka.

The classes went by rather slowly. Sakura was quite unsure what many of the lessons were even about, she supposed missing out on years of education would do that to a person. The classes weren't boring though, especially history. Even though it felt like she had picked up a book and started reading on a random page, what she was learning was not entirely uninteresting. The history of Japan was nothing like her own, but in some ways they were quite similar. Wars, sickness, and eras of peace. It was all rather fascinating.

Before she knew it, it was lunch and Sakura felt as though she hadn't learned much of a thing.

"Sakura-chaaaaann," a rather loud and obnoxious male voice exclaimed as soon as lunch time was announced. It almost reminded her of Naruto.

Is this…Light?

No, Kenosuke, you'll meet Light soon enough.

"I heard you showed up early today," the boy known as Kenosuke said. He pushed a desk up against Sakura's and pulled out a massive bento to start eating. Though his personality was similar, Kenosuke looked nothing like Naruto. Kenosuke had dark, dark hair and green eyes. If anything, he looked more like Sasuke.

"You heard right, but I don't get why it's such a big deal," Sakura replied.

"It's because you never show up early, Sakura-chan, duh!" Kenosuke said through mouthfuls of food. He was almost cute, in a messy puppy sort of way. She'd met three of her friends already, now there was only one left. Kenosuke continued spewing idle chatter through mouthfuls of food while Sakura did something similar, of course she was a little more graceful.

Then as though it had never begun, lunch ended and classes continued. She admitted that P.E. was her favorite out of all the classes, as it gave her an opportunity to run free. Though she realized she should've held back because all of her classmates asked her where her athletic talents had come from all of a sudden.

By the end of the day, Sakura felt as though her brain had been filled with a dizzying amount of knowledge. It had been a while since she'd felt something like that, and she sort of liked it.

Now's the time to meet Yagami Light.

What do you mean?

Nakama never had to answer because as she was walking out the school, a young lad caught up with her. With the fakest smile Sakura had ever seen, he said, "Ready for cram school?"

Who the hell is this creep?

That's Yagami Light.

Sakura took another look at the handsome man walking alongside her. Something seemed off about him, he seemed…strange. As she looked into his eyes, Sakura was filled with an overwhelming sense of dread. Whoever Yagami Light was, Sakura was sure he would cause a lot of trouble.

Sakura smiled, "Of course I'm ready."

As the two of them walked in the direction she assumed was 'cram school', Sakura hoped that the sense of dread had only been her imagination.

. . . . . .

Well it's been 3 years, hopefully there's some improvement. Key word: hopefully. Unfortunately for this story things haven't exactly been going as planned. I had a whole storyboard planned out, you know, a little summary on what to write for each chapter but now (currently writing chapter 5, but by the time I post this I'll likely be on 10) I'm only following the storyboard as a loose guideline, some chapters I don't even consult the storyboard. I'm wondering if I should just rewrite it because planning really helps me stay on track, but I'm not so sure yet that I want to change it.

Anyway, it's time for your little post-chapter treat. Stats. Character stats, in fact, each chapter will have character stats. My OCs and Sakura will have their stats made up by me, but the official Death Note characters will have their stats taken from the 'Death Note: How to Read' guide…though Sakura may end up changing people's stats for the better or worse, so keep an eye out for 'updated stats'. Anyway, today's chapter will be accompanied by Sakura's profile. Naturally.

Just want to point out that for both of her other attributes, these are her skills in Death Note, not Naruto. So where her chakra control in Naruto may be very high, it is very low in Death Note because she isn't supposed to access it. Her Chakra Control WILL improve as the story progresses. Additionally, she may not be the best at Martial Arts in Naruto, but in Death Note she is a pro due to many factors. There you have it.

Also, I'm looking for a proofreader, so if you're interested please PM me and we'll discuss the details.

EDITS 5/31/2015: I've edited a few spelling mistakes and typos. Sakura is still rude and cautious, and I don't intend to change her personality for the better for a few more chapters. I've also changed that voice at the beginning because I never intended for that voice to be the same as Nakama after chapter 1. So I made it so the difference was obvious.
