  SpicyChipQueen chapter 30 . 6/10 I don’t condone violence. In media and real life, females tend to get away with mistreating males in their life a lot more than males do. In media, females hitting and hurting their partners is considered “funny” when in reality it’s abuse. I mean if you take that dynamic and replace it with a male hitting a female I assure you there will likely be more outrage. Truly heartbreaking... Despite this, I really lowkey want Buttercup to bitch-slap Butch right now before she launches herself into that freezing lake in order to fetch that chain (which rest assured, our fierce little warrior will 100% do). It’s also worth mentioning I would lowkey want Butch to do the same to Butters if the roles were reversed. Though, the morally correct choice would be to get the chain and get justly mad... |

| SpicyChipQueen chapter 29 . 6/10 I adore how Butch didn’t even hesitate in announcing to everyone that Buttercup was his boyfriend. He really loves her, not being ashamed of her in any way despite for some weird reason being gay is considered a bad thing in this fic (Brick thinks the student body thinking Butch is gay as bad as he tries to prevent Butch from talking). Also, the detail about Butch knowing that BC was a girl but refusing to believe it shows he isn’t stupid but in reality wanted to believe she wouldn’t lie. He wanted to trust her... They really have a great relationship in this fic and I hope they can still be together after time... Being able to maintain that amazing trust/dynamic they had in the start... |
