Dragon Soul: The Dragon King Notes

This section will show the couples so far in the story. As a couple gets officially together in the story, they will be listed here. There will be both yaoi and het couples. I will put warnings at the beginning of each chapter of which shipping will be mention or if they'll be in the chapter for a while for any reason. I'll even put a rating up for that couple so you know how far that scene will go.

Side Notes

Priest Seto from the anime will be known as Set in order to avoid confusion between him and Seto Kaiba.

Kisara is older than Ishizu by a few months. So from oldest to youngest, the Ishtar family are: Odion, Kisara, Ishizu, and Malik.

There will be NO Tea bashing in my stories. I actually liked her in the anime and thought she was alright.

Bond/Bonded: To have a Bond/be Bonded, a dragon must fully claim his Soul Mate physically and spiritually i.e. leave a Mark.

Mark/Marked/Marking: To be Marked means that a dragon has claimed his Soul Mate spiritually. Consummating their relationship will give a good spiritual connection.

Soul Mate/Soul Mates: Two halves of a whole. A dragon has only one Soul Mate and must find them before a century or two of life or risk losing their souls and becoming lost in the darkness/Shadow Realm. A Soul Mate is considered the light half of their soul. Example: Losing the ability to see in colors and feeling emotions. It can happen at any age after a century, but most dragons lose these abilities after a century.
NOTE: Yami and his group lost their abilities to see in colors and feel emotions a lot sooner due to cutting their light out to seal Zorc. They've been living like this for two thousand years. Mokuba and Noah just recently(about a century or two ago) lost these abilities due to not fighting in the war and not giving up their light.

Puppyshipping: Seto Kaiba x Joey Wheeler = Partially Bonded; Seto has refused Joey as his Mate. Only Marked to him to keep Yami from bounding Joey's soul to his(Yami's). Seto's Mark on Joey only shows that he bound Joey's soul to him and shows that he hasn't truly claimed Joey as his.
