As a serious writer I decided to post some original ideas here and see how my style and techniques were received. So far the results have been encouraging. Thank you all for your support, I've actually received many requests that I let my readers know when I'm published so they can buy my book. It means the world to me.

I'm the type of person who loves writing for people. I write for the enjoyment of others, and I write to change the world. I also write to shut up the voices in my head.

I'm sorry about the fact that I haven't updated faithfully in a long time, but I am working on my book right now. It's the most important part of my life at the moment, and I'm afraid I can't promise when I will update. I don't appreciate people begging me for updates, though of course I still love to hear from you in the form of feedback or just a 'hi'. Just letting you know I haven't dropped off the face of the planet, and that I will get back into my fanfics eventually but . . . what can I say. Life is calling. Or in this case, my book. XD

Nine Gods and Goddesses of Light and Darkness

Cestera (Light) -- sometimes called the Queen of Heaven and the Queen of Light. Cestera is the Goddess of Life. She is generally considered benevolent and quick to bless those who lead good, honest lives. Profile: life, honesty, integrity, virtue, and monogamy.

Gridanja (Dark) -- sometimes called the Soulless One and the Queen of Lies. Gridanja is the Goddess of Despair. She is generally considered a malevolent one who sows the seeds of discord simply to watch everything fall apart. Profile: strength, deception, and stealth. Assassins almost always worship her.

Shinigami (Dark) -- sometimes called the Black One and Lord of Shadows. Shinigami is the God of Death. He is a deity swathed in mystery, and he is the only one none claim as patron. Profile: death, silence, shadow.

Nahanquae (Dark) -- sometimes called the Dolphin Queen and the Water Demon. Nahanquae is the Goddess of Water. She is known as a trickster with a cruel streak. Profile: water, trickery, beauty, jealousy.

Nirande (Light) -- sometimes called the Wood Sprite. Nirande is the Goddess of the Woodlands. This includes animals as well. She is considered a prankster, lacking the cruel streak of her twin, Nahanquae. Profile: animals, plants, music, motherhood.

Relwan (Light) -- sometimes called the Bright One. Relwan is the God of Hope, and he is Gridanja’s antithesis. He is a calm god, wise and gentle. Profile: hope, light, peace.

Vyrea (Dark) -- sometimes called the Queen of Magic. Vyrea is the Goddess of Dreams, and it is she who created magic. Little is known about Vyrea, even by those who have inherited her gift. She is the least-known goddess. Profile: magic, dreams, secrecy, knowledge.

Jhatahj (Light) -- sometimes called the Laughing Demon. Jhatahj is the God of Fire, and strangely he is a bright, lively god who speaks of the cleansing power of fire. He is madly in love with Nirande. Profile: fire, laughter, new beginnings.

Drammon (Light) -- sometimes called the Wise One and the Windmaster. Drammon is the God of Wind. He controls wind and weather. He is forceful at times, but he is fair-minded. Profile: wind, lightning, justice, balance.
