The idea behind posting some writing here was to see what types of things I can and cannot write. Granted, I do like SBRL, but more importantly, the pairing (and fan fiction in general) serves as an excellent vehicle to discover more about my strengths and weaknesses. It turns out that though I enjoy reading all sorts of things, I am much better at writing fluff than tragedy. I will try for some other writing styles as I go along, so be forewarned (for instance, "Unexpected" is my first attempt at something a bit more angsty). So far I think my best story is "Thank You Notes."

I find myself looking forward to reviews even negative ones, especially if they suggest helpful things for me to improve. To my reviewers: You rock my small, self-centered universe!
