![]() Author has written 5 stories for Pokémon, Naruto, Young Justice, and Justice League. I write about my favorite characters and there are many to write about. Comics, Cartoons, Movies, and Anime mostly. To my dad who instilled a deep love for superheroes and encouraged me to embrace writing. I miss you every second. Favorite Characters and Why: Naruto Uzumaki: This guy had to be one of the first characters to really draw me into manga/anime. His story is like one of the old school epics you read about in English class, except with more orange. I don't necessarily agree with what's gone on with Kishimoto's writing or how his story has gone completely crazy, but Naruto has still managed to stay a prominent fixture in my writing. I thank fanfiction for it. Batman: Do I need to explain this one? I mean it's Batman! He was one of the first superheroes I ever read or watched. It doesn't matter what media it's in. Whether or not it's the Nolanverse or the comics, Batman kicks ass. Red Hood: Jason Todd got a bad rap back in the day. Thankfully he returned as Red Hood who is all sorts of badass. Definitely one of my favorite characters. Wolverine: I miss Hugh Jackman. His version of Wolverine helped modernized comic book movies and for that, I'll always be grateful. The comic book version of Wolverine just returned and I'm also pretty happy to see it. Spiderman: RIP Stan Lee. Spiderman is the coming of age story for superheroes. His struggles are the best part of his story because when it comes down to it Peter Parker is an ordinary guy gifted with amazing responsibilities. Charizard: Okay this is a funny one but Charizard is fucking awesome. My first Pokemon game was FireRed and Charizard left an impact on me. So when I say Charizard I mean Ash's Charizard. He will always be my favorite of Ash's Pokemon. Jon Snow: Poor Jon. The famous book character that knows nothing. The tv character that gets a bad rap sometimes. Before I forget I'm a fan of the N plus A= J theory for the books because I hate Rhagar and Lyanna. Jon Snow is a great character who tries to the right thing in a world that is so used to the wrong. Captain America: Steve Rogers is a good man. Chris Evans brought this character to life on the big screen and I'm gonna miss seeing him in Marvel movies. Leonardo: A lot of people would go with Raph as their favorite ninja turtle, but mine has to go with Leo. Maybe it has to do with watching the 2003 animated series. Yami Yugi: It's time to duel bitches. God that was fun to write. But seriously Yami or Atem's story is a powerful one. Yusei Fudo: My other favorite Yugioh protagonist. Him and Stardust Dragon man. Godzilla: Dudes it fucking Godzilla. I don't need a reason to like this radioactive, giant, city-smashing dinosaur. I just do. And fuck King of the Monster critics. Bastards apparently don't know the point of a Godzilla movie. Goku: As a kid, I practiced the Kamehameha to the amusement of my dad. The new Dragonball Super episodes have gotten crazy and Goku has just become even more fun to watch. Zuko: Avatar might have been Aang's story, but Zuko was the one that captured my attention. His character development is the most felt in the show and watching him and Iroh is always fun. Acnologia: Weird right? But I'm a fan of the bad guy. Go figure. Scorpion: The face of Mortal Kombat and one of the baddest motherfuckers to grace video games. Deadpool: Yes Deadpool is overrated in some cases, but he's also the best parody of comic book superheroes and Ryan Reynolds has embodied the merc with the mouth perfectly. Hellboy: I know a comic book character, not DC or Marvel, but Hellboy is this awesome mix of Lovecraftian craziness and supernatural myths. Dark Horse is probably still afloat because of Hellboy. Daenerys Targaryen: I love this girl and stand by her through all the bullshit the show put her through. Harry Potter: I grew up reading the books and this has to be one of my most favorite characters. Ned Stark: Ned Stark got a rough deal. Trying to do the right thing got his fucking head cut off after all. People call him a fool for not being able to play the game, but I just see him as a man with honor who was unprepared. N plus A equals J. Seriously hope that's how it goes in the books but it probably won't. Ban: My favorite character out of Seven Deadly Sins. The cocky immortal asshole. All Might: This guy is just too cool. He's loud and energetic and he just wants to do the right thing. Roronoa Zoro: The toughest member of the Straw Hats. Zoro is one of those characters thats popularity is just as powerful as the main protagonist. Hated Characters and Why: Tony Stark: I'm probably gonna get some flack for this one, but I really don't like Iron Man. Comics, Cartoons or movies it doesn't matter. It doesn't help that they really shoehorned him into every fucking movie that takes place on earth. It's really creepy how he manipulates Spider-Man in the MCU. I don't think he's the worst character in the Marvel Universe but he toes the line between hero and being the outright villain a lot. Sasuke Uchiha: Sasuke is the fucking worst. Past or present. And the fact that he is allowed to get away with a lot of bad shit grinds my patience. Bonds are important as Kishimoto stresses, but sometimes you have to break bonds to save others and yourself and that is what Naruto should have done. Joker: Okay as a villain Joker is amazing. He's the chaos to Batman's order. But when people actually ship him and Harley Quinn together I throw up in my mouth. Cyclops: He killed Prof. Xavier and even before that he was a real douche bag. So yeah fuck Cyclops. Rhaegar Targaryen: So let me get this straight. Guys married. Guy hears a prophecy. Guy plot against mad father so points to him. Guy runs off with cousin's betrothed and hides while the whole country tears itself apart and cheats on his wife. Fuck Rhaegar Targaryan and sometimes the Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire fandom drives me nuts. Also, I don't care what anyone says but Ned Stark is Jon Snow's father. Rhaegar is a pathetic excuse for a snake that is pretending to be a dragon. Lyanna Stark: People make mistakes especially young people. But if Lyanna ran off with Rhaegar like some big fucking romance that they want to present in the show, then a whole lot of people died because of two people's selfishness. Plus it would be downright hypocritical. She doesn't marry Robert because she thinks he won't stay to one bed so she runs off with a married man. Now I don't know if this happens the same way in the books as George R.R Martin hasn't revealed the whole story, but in the show, this is what happened. Otto Octavius: They actually had this guy steal Spider-man's life for a while and the writers actually thought it was a good idea. He's a great villain don't get me wrong, but fuck I really hate Superior Spider-Man. Marvel Spider-Man/Mary-Jane Spider-Man/Black Cat Spider-Man/Gwen Stacy( Any version. 616, Spider-Gwen or otherwise) Spider-Man/X-23 (There are some great fics with this pairing and the idea of Peter fearing for his life from daddy Wolverine is hilarious.) If you don't agree that's fine.) List of the best of Spider-Man media. Storylines, cartoons, movies, and actors who voice and played the webhead. Spidey is one of the best and most popular super-heroes in the world and I don't think Stan Lee and Steve Ditko knew how much joy they were bringing by creating this character. Top Five Best Cartoon's 1. The Spectacular Spider-Man: Tell me there's a better Spidey cartoon than this. 2.Spider-Man: The Animated Series: Too many people, this is the best of Spidey and in many ways they're right, but it still can't contend with Spectacular. 3. Spider-Man The New Animated Series: This is an underrated gem. A more serious take on Spidey that follows a timeline after the very first Spider-Man flick. 4.Ultimate Spider-Man: I have problems with this show I won't lie. It probably has something to do with the fact that this is the show that replaced Spectacular Spider-Man, but it did get better after a few seasons. 5. Marvel's Spider-Man: This is not a bad show, but at the same time it's not a good show. At least in my opinion. It still has growing to do and it needs to stop introducing so many characters at once but who knows it might grow to be something better like Ultimate did. Top Five Storylines a Spidey fan should Read: 1. The Night Gwen Stacy Died: Spider-Man's greatest failure and one of the deaths that hit him the hardest. 2. Alien Costume Saga: The suit that would ultimately turn into one of Spidey's greatest villains/frenemies. 3. Spider-Verse: One of the best modern storylines to involve the webhead. 4. The Other: Introducing Morlun, the villain of Spider-verse 5. Kraven's Last Hunt: Kraven is an underrated villain and he really gets to show some of his chops in this storyline. Top Five Voice Actors: 1. Josh Keaton 2. Yuri Lowenthal 3. Christopher Daniel Barnes 4. Neil Patrick Harris 5.Drake Bell Top Five Films 1.Spider-Man 2 2.Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 3.Spider-Man: Homecoming 4.Spider-Man 5.Venom ( I'm counting it and eagerly waiting to see Tom Hardy and Tom Holland on the same screen. Will they fight or will they work together? Both? Both are good.) RIP Stan Lee and Steve Ditko Batman The Truth About the Dark Knight Much like with Spider-Man, Batman is one of the greatest comic book heroes to grace the page and like Spider-Man here's a list about the greatest Batman storylines, cartoons, and voice actors. Top Five Cartoons 1.Batman: The Animated Series. 2.The Batman 3.Batman the Brave and the Bold 4. Beware The Batman 5. Young Justice (This one's kind of cheating, but every time Batman appears on this show he steals the focus.) Top Five Storylines 1. Batman: Year One 2. Batman: Under the Red Hood 3. Knightfall 4. Hush 5. No Man's Land Top Five Voice Actors 1. Kevin Conroy (No one should be surprised.) 2. Bruce Greenwood 3. Rino Romano 4. Troy Baker 5. Diedrich Bader Bonus: Will Arnett and Roger Craig Smith also play excellent Batmans. Top Five Live Action Actors 1. Ben Affleck (This guy played an amazing Batman. I don't care what anyone says. He was the closest to the comic book version.) 2. Christian Bale ( Bale did a terrific job, but Nolan's trilogy, while amazing, is also steeped in realism which some might like but I always thought took something from the character.) 3. Michael Keaton ( A much darker version of the character and one of the first modern superheroes to hit the big screen.) 4. Adam West (His Batman matched the times and the comics. RIP Adam West) 5. Val Kilmer ( He wasn't bad as Batman or as Bruce Wayne. In all honesty, to follow up on Michael Keaton he did a great job. I blame Joel Schumacher for the mess the franchise became.) |
