This fanfiction is going great. I will wait for the next update. By the way, I know very well that you have planned all ash team, but still no harm in suggesting. I would love to see kingdra in ash team like in traveller. Most authors who at inspired by traveller normally gives ash a dratini in safari zone, but dratini is an super rare pokemon. In a realistic way people would spend months trying to get a dratini in safari zone so it makes no sense in ash getting dratini on its very first ash already got a rare breed of charmander, a clefairy, and a king nature pidgeotto. So I think there is no point in giving ash more luck. After all ash is like all other trainers and not some legends "chosen one" in this story. Horsea is more common and easy to obtain so kingdra is suitable dragon, unless u have planned something else. Also I loved u have ash a totodile. Feraligator is going to be a powerhouse. Anyway good luck with the story.

Between this and Potter i am not sure which i would rather see you update more. I hope your muse encourages you prodigiously, time, life and health permitting.

It’s tough when you want to make Ash smart but also want to keep suspense... he has a fairly strong Clefairy and an extremely strong Pidgeotto with King’s Nature, but he’s struggling against someone who I assume both Gary and Leaf beat. Even if their victories were close things, that implies he’s only about as good as they are which makes all of this special stuff about him seem nothing but show; he is no better than two other normal trainers.

Beat Pokemon fic I've read, ever. The character development is superb, and all the Pokemon have unique skills, personality and names. This story is amazing and also Go Team Leaf! I need more homie this shit is like crack to me. Amazing work bro!

I absolutely love this story, it is one of the best Pokemon fics I’ve read. Don’t ever call yourself mediocre, I wish I had half your skill in writing.
I reread this story all the time when craving a good fic, I‘M absolutely addicted to it.

I’m loving this my man. I can’t wait to see what happens to Ash next and who the guy will be paired with too. Also, hope you add Riolu to his team later on as I just love the aura Pokemon. It’s just so freaking cool and strong.

I'm pleasantly surprised this is back! This is a great, fun fic overall. My suggestion is to please don't shy away from challenging Ash - a protagonist is only as worthy of the obstacles he overcomes. In this chapter, you decided that the ruthless strategy that Paul and Ash used in their battles were perfectly valid moves, so I hope we can see other trainers using serious, clever strategies against Ash - give the battles some stakes, some real teeth. Related to that, in the previous chapter you asked, "...That the reason he keeps winning is more because of his intelligence and knowledge than the strength of his pokemon and the moves and techniques they know, even though that obviously play a significant part?" I liked the fights, I liked that chapter, but I wouldn't necessarily say that, simply because Ash was rolling into the tournament with evolved mons, King's Nature, and so forth - I think your goal would come across better if you started putting his opponents on equal territory. For example, he shouldn't have been fighting a Houndour; he should've been fighting a Houndoom. I'm thinking of stuff like Game of Champions (RIP) - Red wasn't a BAMF because he beat some random kid's Staryu, but because he beat Aion the immortal kingslayer, who gave him the fight of his life.

And obviously, depending on your goals for the fic, you can ignore everything I said. I like a good curbstomp fic as much as anyone else, and if that's what you're going for, then hell fucking yes, go for it. I'll be here for the fic no matter what form it takes. Aces.
