![]() Author has written 3 stories for Naruto, and Marvel. So apparently people want me to write stuff on my profile, for whatever reason. For those reading this that don't know who I am, I'm the author of "The Way" and "Marvel's Maelstrom." The Way is a what if story where Obito never "died," thus messing up the entire continuity. A lot of characters are alive that should be dead, a lot are dead that should be alive. Marvel's Maelstrom is a Naruto/Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover that pretty much introduces Naruto to the MCU, with the first ten chapters revolving around him trying to return home, the rest about him doing whatever the hell I think of. I suppose I should give a list of my favorite stories and authors in no particular order. Stories: The Sealed Kunai, Reaching for a Dream, Way of the Rattlesnake, The Bonds That Shape Us, Ashikabi No Shinobi, Shinobi of the High Seas, Sage, Pain Hunger and Betrayal, and Naruto Shifts in Life. Authors: Kenchi618, Noodlehammer, The Engulfing Silence, Digitize27, & Tyrannitor. If I had to list my biggest Fanfic pet peeves as far as Naruto goes it would have to be: Character bashing of any kind, an overly abused Naruto, a ninja council with civilians in it, alive yet abusive Minato and Kushina, girls that fall in love with Naruto because he looked at them, harems in general most times, a Naruto who gets mad that Sasuke gets everything handed to him only for him to then get everything handed to him for reasons, there's probably more. I feel like there may be a few people that wonder why I don't use Japanese honorifics like chan, kun, and san. The answer is simple. I find it annoying. I really, really, really do. Every time someone says someone else's name they use it and it gets old fast. If I had to pinpoint what inspired me to write, it would be the graphic novels Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns, the movies Inglorius Basterds, Guardians of the Galaxy, Pulp Fiction, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, The Incredibles, No Country for Old Men, Hot Fuzz, and a bunch of others. Since I’m doing a story that is set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I figure I might as well give my best of list. The list goes from best to worst. 1. Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 2. Avengers: Endgame 2019 3. Captain America: Winter Soldier 2014 4. Captain America: Civil War 2016 5. Avengers: Infinity War 2019 6. Black Panther 2018 7. Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 8. Avengers 2012 9. Iron Man 2008 10. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 2017 11. Doctor Strange 2016 12. Thor: Ragnarok 2017 13. Ant-Man and the Wasp 2018 14. Ant-Man 2015 15. Captain Marvel 2019 16. Captain America: The First Avenger 2011 17. Avengers: Age of Ultron 2015 18. Iron Man 3 2013 19. Thor 2011 20. The Incredible Hulk 2008 21. Thor: The Dark World 2013 22. Iron Man 2 2010 This is just my opinion. Some of you, for whatever reason, may think Iron Man 2 is the best thing Marvel Studios has produced. I’d strongly disagree, but that’s both the beauty and horror of film, everyone has a different experience with every movie. Except for 2015’s Fantastic Four. I think we can all agree that movie is fantastic. |
