What did Malibu Comics ever do to you to deserve such a treatment?

This seems like you're making him weak on purpose just so he can't fight against katsuki just so he can have that big ol' fight later on...

Was just reading this after reading your Poekmon story and thought of something. Ever think of possibly doing a story where you give Izuku the ability to use Aura? Would be super cool and a plausible idea.

Aura being the other thing a person could unlock but was forgotten over time when Quirks became more popular. Izuku could meet someone who knows of it and teaches the aspiring hero the skills. Just some food for thought.

Although, you do have a few spelling mistakes that pop up all the time that sometimes detracts from the story. Like you keep saying fallow instead of follow, or common instead of come on. Other than that, this story is a must read. Good Job

Just finished catching up with this. And I've got to say, I think this is my favorite My Hero Academia fanfic! I like a good alt-power fic just fine, but reading about your badass unpowered Izuku has been a blast. I also like how you've kept him mostly in character while still showing how he's grown emotionally thanks to having real support during his childhood, he's a lot more secure.

The plot itself hasn't changed too much from canon so far, but it hasn't really had a reason too either. Do you plan to keep it close to canon or gradually move off the rails as time goes on?

As for Mineta, I'm honestly not sure how he got into the hero course in the first place. All I can imagine is him running around like a maniac during the entrance exam, maybe getting a few lucky shots in with his sticky balls. I know he's comic relief, but I'm glad you're not letting get away with things like he does in canon.

hope mirio's training straightened the little fella up to the right path, imo he has to be one of the best in his class if he took hero work seriously, hope to see some character developed from him, hehe
good work on this fic, fight scenes, didnt know about that plot armor esque move deku use on iida, but i understand it sorta of like a judo move where one use the opponent momentum against them.

Eri meeting 1-A was just as i imagined and watching Izuku and Mirio go all scary big bro on Mineta was beautiful

Good chapter! I thought the fights were very well written. Although if I did have a suggestion for something that could be improved it would be to vary the names that you call people a bit more. In this chapter it felt like you called Lida a “speedster” quite a bit in short succession and it felt a bit repetitive.
