To begin: My pen name is Kurisutiina-chan, which is a loose translation of my name into Japanese - so yes, my name is Kristina if you haven't figured that out yet. I'm very attached to this pen name because I identify with certain aspects of the Japanese culture - a project on the country and another on Shintoism taught me some things about Japan that I now love - and I also write primarily about Japanese mangas. One of my goals is actually to somehow find my way to Japan in the near future so that I can explore the country that I am so fascinated with.

Moving right along to more important business...

About me: Well I absolutely love NARUTO and Skip Beat! though my tastes are always changing.

As to my work: even if my updates are sometimes few and far between (like now), I will finish my current Skip Beat story at least. I have outlines and ideas that I just need to spend some time alone with - it's the alone time that's the hard part.

Hmm, what else? I'm currently a super busy medical student, so I rarely have time to write nowadays, though I do try to make some time for it. I also love to write (I would think that's quite obvious), even though I generally don't like my own stories and often abandon them so that now I'm stuck with files upon files of half complete stories (both original and fanfiction) saved on my hard drive. I do have two fics posted here that I'm "currently working on" which I've already mentioned above, so wish me luck with those. I'm also working on an original story that I'm actually more than halfway done at this point so maybe I'll actually finish this one - keep your fingers crossed for me!

I also love music, both listening to it and writing my own songs when inspiration strikes. I really appreciate reviews since they help me learn to write better given that I haven't taken an English course since high school. I'm kind of a nerd...but at the same time I'm kind of crazy. And I love laughing. Laughter keeps you young darlings.
