Author has written 10 stories for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Merlin, Sherlock, and Radio Dramas. SO a bit about me... I grew up a military child (I personally protest the word 'brat' to describe myself). I am the oldest of six children and I think that my siblings are pretty awesome. I adore reading and have ever since my mother started to read Harry Potter to me when I was younger. I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (or the Mormon church for those who don't know the full name). And my religion is very important to me. Any questions that anyone may have, you can ask. However, I recognize that this is a fanfiction site, so that isn't very likely. I just wanted to put that out there. And in this paragraph, you have learned the two most important things in my life. Also, I am crazy obsessed with both Hobbits and Hufflepuff. I am a wholehearted Hufflepuff and proud! Also, I want to live in the Shire. Some of my hobbies are acting, spending time in dream-land, trying to get myself to write, wishing I was in the Shire, finding motivation to DO stuff, finding new series, listening to LotR music, brag about my siblings... and I dabble in quilting. Some lesser hobbies include: painting, crocheting (sp?), scrap-booking, drawing, (trust me on all of these I have at least one thing I'm working on, I just can't finish them) Random other stuff I want to become an author, and am working towards becoming a nurse. Although, sometimes I like to imagine myself being a book editor (reading books for a living? count me in!! I just need to brush up on editing) I am VERY out of it I didn't really know who Michael Jackson was till he died. Sorry MJ fans no offense it's just me. My music taste is extremely rare. (Alright, maybe not rare, but I definitely don't know a lot of people with similar interests.) The best I can say is... I like epic music. By that I mean, LotR soundtrack, How to Train Your Dragon soundtrack, Thomas Bergersen music, Audiomachine, basically anything that makes me feel like I'm in the middle of an adventure. As long as it's not too metal or rock-ish. I also like classical music, but that's more of stuff I listen too when I can't get to my epic music. FF Info: I absolutely love Lord of the Rings. It is by far the most amazing story that I have ever read. Despite my absolute obsession with the series, LotR is not one of my more frequented fandoms. My second favorite series is Harry Potter. Yes, I am a Harry Potter fanatic and I only wish I had more money to buy Harry Potter memorabilia and such. How awesome would that be? Those are my main book fandoms. I have recently gotten into some TV show fandoms as well. Like the book area there are only two fandoms that I oft frequent (he he). Both are Brittish and both are BBC. Merlin and Sherlock. (Makes me almost sad that I'm American--Not really. I'm pretty content with life right now. It's a pain, but I'm content.) I am totally obsessed with How to Train Your Dragon, it is probably my favorite movie ever. It makes me happy. Toothless and Hiccup own my heart (Along with Samwise Gamgee, Neville, and Merlin. Okay, Sherlock and John as well. Oh! And Arthur Shappey and Martin Crieff.) Its music is gorgeous, I love the plot, and I love the adorable characters. Above, I mentioned Arthur Shappey, he is what I would be if my sensibilities didn't interfere. Except for the fact that he's very much an extrovert and I am a total introvert. And a little anti-social. I love Cabin Pressure, it is my repeat-obsession. Most things, even though I love them dearly, I just can't read/watch over and over again. I listen to Cabin Pressure like crazy. Martin is darling and I wish I could hug him and I want to be Arthur's best friend and hug him too. One other thing; I am an angst-aholic. Probably unhealthily so... (I'm serious, kidnapping!fics, death!fics, hurt-comfort, my bookmarks are a little scary sometimes.) I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things. LONG LIVE PLUTO! --QUOTES!!!!!!-- (Aang has just raised a huge mushroom cloud in the distance) "Albus Severus, you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew." Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) Dolores Umbridge: Please, tell them I mean no harm. Galadriel: Why the Halfling? Sam: It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something. |
