After so many years without a real profile change, here it is! Eh, don't get too excited, it isn't much.

Nothing's really changed. I still read what I want, and speak my mind (in a polite and respectful way of course) and tell you if I like it or not. I still recommend stories and an author's/esses style.

I still take flames, tough critics, and questions (and yes, I still prefer them via email if you don't have an account, a PM if you do), and I will add here that if just because I take flames, it doesn't mean I'll lay down and take them. If you get mean and snarky, expect me to get mean and snarky back. And I will win.

I still make up characters for fics, and I still kill them off or let them fade away into the distance never to be seen again. These characters are rarely designed to be liked, but I try to make sure that you understand them by the end of their run. I hate just throwing random OC's in for no reason. That being said, I don't do self insert. Y'know, those fics where there's a character the canon characters meet and she/he is amazing and superspecialawesome (10 cool points to you if you know where that came from) and the entire reason they're there isn't for anything other than just getting them together with a canon and the plot doesn't make sense? Yeah, try to avoid writing those. And nothing against those who do write that brand, but it ain't my glass of sweet tea, y'know?

I still try to keep canon characters IN character. If I fail in any way at this, I appreciate the heads up. I won't fix the spelling if it's not glaringly bad (lkie ever udder wor is mispeled like thi) but I will ALWAYS FIX CHARACTERIZATION! Cuz I loves y'all that much :) I also appreciate knowing when I got a character right; it helps when I write them again.

I still don't write lemons, smut, PWP, or any of that. Why? ...Because I haven't ventured into that part of writing yet and have no plans to any time soon. I will IMPLY until the sun comes up and down again, but I won't do more than that. I don't write MxM or FxF. Not against it, your life is your oyster and you can shuck it however you want, I don't care. But I'm not going to write it, thank you.

I've said I only hate two anime characters with a passion, but let's face it: there are waaay more out there than that. However, because I mostly write (not anymore, really) Sailor Moon and/or Gundam Wing fics, I can, have and will bash them up one side and down the other. More characters may get the same treatment, or I may just ignore them completely -cough-LoriHawaii50-cough- but you can usually tell who I favor by how much I hurt them either physically or emotionally or psychologically. Yeah, it's awful, ain't it? :p

Spelling is not my strong suite. I never won a spelling bee, never even made it past round one. Having said that, yes there are words that aren't correctly spelled sometimes. Don't send me reviews telling me some words misspelled because, oddly enough, I am aware of this. I am also aware that I should get a beta or dictonary or take the time to click the little spell check button before posting. But, y'know, my time is divided in ways that make it all I can do to write a chapter (then type it up, in some cases) and then to post it, all which is usually done in the wee morning hours or after a night (or nights, as the case may be) of little to no sleep. No, this is not an exscuse. No, I am not saying these things make it acceptable. I am saying however, that it is for these REASONS that I do not take the limited brain power I have at that point to correct something like spelling. Everyone I know sucks at spelling too, beta's require more computer and contact time than I have, and I haven't used a dictonary since I was in elementary school because really what's the point of those things? You have to know how to spell a word to find it so you can spell it right which doesn't make sense because if if you already knew how to spell the word then you wouldn't need to look it up in the dictonary to begin with! Yeah, this is probably a shitty thing to say, but it honestly doesn't bother me one way or the other here. When the times in my life require it yes I'll make sure it's all squared away. But I'm not getting graded on this, none of the things I post here will make it into a journal, a magazine, or a novel, nor be used in any other way, so I will not worry about it. My advice: mentally correct it as you read (which the brain almost does automatically) or stop reading if it bothers you. If I get a review from here on out talking about spelling and I've redirected you to this twice, then expect a comment that won't be nice.

I still live in Florida, in the good ol' USA (voting jokes not appreciated as I was living in AL at that time and wasn't even legally able to vote anyway) and guess what? We still get hurricanes. Not that you could tell from this past season (poor east coast...maybe we should stop praying everytime a wave or depression forms to hit somewhere else, huh?) but hurricanes and severe weather happen. Power outtages are not uncommon. HOWEVER! These are not valid reasons for my lack of updating. Valid Reason #1: I am working two jobs and they are NOT at set times. My off days from last week may not be the same as next week, nor will my hours. Valid Reason #2: I am starting school in January. Between that and work, and then my own life, what little time I have left over is devoted to SLEEP! (ah, blessed, blessed sleep!) Given the choice between writing and sleep, sleep WILL win everytime until I am well rested.

Get over it.

So, there you go. I've practically outlined my system for you.

These have little to no chance of being updated ever again, for various reasons. Either I lost the train of thought for that particular story or grew bored with it and it just dropped off my radar. Either way, that's that.

Now, for the stories that are going to be updated, that's anything that is currently listed as 'In-progress' and will be updated eventually. I've got a crazy life and it's even crazier right now, so be patient.

The only two that are toss ups as far as updating goes is Beyond Belief, and Gundam Wing at Chuckie Cheese. Really, Beyond Belief is based on real events (modified slightly) that happen to me and my friends, and we haven't all gotten together in a while. -sniff, cry-
