Second time reading, it is an amazing piece. I very much enjoyed the slight but consistent insanity each held after exposure to a harsh unforgiving world. Its hard to realistically pull off, but you've managed it wonderfully. Even the ending where Harry slowly comes back to himself after completely accepting his end.
