wooah, I really, really love this story it is apart of my cannon now. I wish Tolkien had written something like this into the end of the return of the king. I had really needed to know and this was just perfect! (I believe there may be a type-o about a 4th of the way down JOURNEY'S END at "His beard was snow white and his voice less booming than the hobbits remembered but he was otherwise hale" I think whole was meant but idk)

I find it really sweet that Aragorn sends him to sleep and then Elrond strengthens it later...it's kind of like they're working together one more time. :)

Also Frodo falling asleep too is just too funny!

Sam is so under-recognized, it's very right for him to make his journey in such a special way...it's at least part of his due!
