There is a good chance you're at my profile because you're curious. If you're anything like me, you want to know what I like, the type of stories I like, pairings, all that jazz. I'll try to help out.

I used to write, but deleted my stories because they were awful. I hope I'm a little better.

My favorite hero is Spider-Man, full stop.

I do enjoy 'Multi' stories, but not to the ridiculous degree. I'm a romantic at heart, so that's a good compass for the type that I like.

I do enjoy seeing the MCs of a given series get their due. That is, the good guy gets good stuff, and a happy ending. This includes stories with the Powerful! tagline, but I don't much care for the exclamation point.

My favorite storylines for Spider-Man were Happy Birthday, and The Other.

I prefer stories that portray him as matured, a living legend that the younger heroes look up to and the city loves. He's been fighting with and against titans of the universe since he was fifteen, and is by all rights a pillar of the super-hero community. He's been tangling with the best since he was a child, he knows his stuff. Give the man some credit.

I don't think that even four years into his career he'd be telling jokes to mask his fear - he'd be desensitized, confident in himself (I would hope). He does it because it's a valid strategy and part of who he is. I loathe any characterization of him as the annoying flapper that won't shut up, or the awkward, blushing one who can't control himself over women. The former is fine for a young Spider-Man, but he does grow up. Spider-Man, if you ever read the older comics, is confident, and Peter Parker is confident in his own right. Not to the level of blatantly flirting with good looking women, or kissing Jean Grey in front of the entire X-Men, but savvy enough.

His guilt complex is an interesting character flaw, but far too often left unchecked. Flaws are meant to be overcome, not wallowed in. Sadly that's what has happened to Peter over the years. It seems like it's only gotten worse.

MJ, and Felicia, and Gwen, are a tired trilogy of love interests if I'm being completely honest, but I do like them when they're written well. That entails not shoehorning MJ as the one and only without definitively telling or showing why, essentially shoving that as fact into the reader's face.

Similarly, any story that has the Black Cat as the one dimensional temptress who endlessly teases a Spider-Man with all of the control of a fourteen year old is extremely frustrating, especially if she's still in her bitchy, 'won't have sex with Peter without his mask on,' phase.

Not nearly as insufferable as the ones that have Gwen's death as an insurmountable obstacle, though. But that I can understand, truly. However, it would be remarkably refreshing to have Peter move on and forgive himself, which is an extreme rarity. She planned to have him raise his nemesis's children. Come on.

I tend to like 'road less traveled' pairings, ones I don't see much of. I don't much care for the standard Spider-Man pairings, like SpideyxSpider-Woman, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, or... whoever else. Not because I dislike the characters, rather it's because I have no reason to like them.

That sounds bad. I mean I'm not familiar enough with them to really enjoy them as much as the previously mentioned ones.

Heck, even Peter and Jessica Drew sounds interesting, but only because it's a premise that promises to be pants on head "What."

I do enjoy the mystical side of Spider-Man very much. I'm probably alone in that regard. But talk of webs of life and detergent and being the 'center of the whatever' get me excited.

To be honest, I don't like Tsunade. Writers essentially let her get away with abuse, though Sakura is always called out on it. As a love interest or as a guardian, she did a pretty shitty job (like Jiraiya), but is never called out on it. Kind of sexist. She's temperamental and abusive... kind of like Sakura.

I don't mind stories that bash, but I prefer ones that have good characterizations of them. Say, a story where Sasuke isn't a bag of dicks, or Sakura has sense, and Tsunade isn't on a fist first crusade against any guy that enjoys the female form.

Harry Potter: Lunar Harmony, Multi if it's written well enough

I am rereading the series and... man, I already prefer the majority of fanfiction to it. It's a great series, humorous, interesting and everything since I'm not crazy about extended lore or notice plot holes. However, for the main character, Harry is decidedly lackluster, and gets screwed over far too much.

Can't say I prefer stories with evil Dumbledores or manipulating Weasleys, or a suddenly bigoted Ron, or even an evil Snape. I can enjoy them, though. Hate Snape/Hermione and Harry/Draco with a rather cold indifference, though.

RWBY: Arkos (I still haven't made it pass the first season, so I have no idea what everyone is talking about), Jaune/Pyrrah/Ruby

Jaune is one of those characters I just want to see succeed - he's the underdog, and thus I greatly enjoy stories where he does.

One Piece: LuffyxNami, LuffyxVivi (haven't heard of her in forever), LuffyxRobin, LuffyxHancock

I'm not a fan of yaoi or yuri pairings in the slightest, but I can enjoy the latter sometimes. Chiefly if I find it 'cute', not sexy, but I'll never seek it out.

I hate most anime because most male leads are spineless and the female leads are unrepentantly bitchy. I loathe harem anime because of that - it's a beaten and tired trope. To say nothing of the female on male abuse that runs rampant in the genre.

Story Ideas!

Here's where I'll put those things called plot bunnies, I think they're called? If you want to use the idea message me, or at the very least give credit where it's due.

A Thing for Older (Spider)Men: Batgirl has a thing for that frequent universe hopping spider-themed hero that’s been at the game since she was a child.

Takes place a little over ten years into Spider-Man’s career. Peter (late twenties, early thirties), is a seasoned veteran, a professional worthy of Batman’s respect and trust. Perhaps one of the few to have his unreserved trust, too. After a many times of randomly ending up in their world due to some cosmic shenanigans that the apex street leveler finds himself in, he's well acquainted with her own father, and even Superman and his family. Batgirl finds this intriguing, not to mention amazing.

Also, how can he be so shameless as to walk around in that skin tight suit? It doesn’t leave much to the imagination… not that she’s complaining.

This is an idea spun from a general exhaustion of many PeterxBarbra fics. I don't really care for the pairing because it's predictable, so I thought, "What if Peter was older? That'd change things."

Highly inspired by the Batman/Spider-Man crossover comics, but not meant to be a merging of Marvel and DC. Admittedly, it is also born from my general distaste that any Spider-Man brought to DC is a know-nothing, nervous amateur that's easily intimidated. Particularly by Batman. Once again, that's fine for a younger Spidey, but man, is it tired.

I figured the best way to counteract that is to have him not be like that; make him older, more matured, more confident in himself after years of being Spider-Man. A veteran, just like Bats, easily on equal footing.

Barbra, of course, is older. Nineteen, twenty three area. Gordon knows and trusts Spider-Man. Joker hates him because with Peter's age and experience comes a strong trolling game. Peej takes a not so subtle liking toward him.

The pairing doesn't have to be explicit, or even progress to a relationship, just one showing Batgirl's progressing interest in Spider-Man.

The Shieldsman: Inspired the sheer and utter badassery of Captain America's shield-work (seriously, it is phenomenal), this is a story about Jaune ending up forced to survive while looking for a way home, his potential awakens and he makes good on his lack of skills extremely quickly. Of course he would have to - in a world with dragons and mages that can summon the dead, you need to know your stuff, and survival is the difference between a live Arc and a dead one.

Themesong: I'm Still Here, by John Rzeznik

This idea has been rolling in my head for a while. One, you have the block tree in Skyrim, which is the best one ever, and two, you have Jaune, this poor kid who wants to be more than he is. The fact that, being the eight child and the only boy, no one taught him how to fight despite teaching his sisters, paints a very troubling, neglectful picture about his home life. Yet, somehow, he has his great-great-grandpappy's sword. That seemed more like a, "Go take this outside and stop bothering me while I teach your sisters to be badasses," which is by no means a happy picture.

The fic, which I plan on writing, takes place during season 1, chronicling his adventures in Skyrim from stat 15 scrub to past legendary, because no one plays Skyrim without the skill uncapper.

Strong Jaune, Dragonborn Jaune, probably OP Jaune, but what do you expect when you're the Dovakiin? A nerf? Hell naw.

Superior was a kick to the teeth of Peter Parker, wherein said teeth were immediately swept underneath the rug and ignored.
