*UPDATE 3/7/19*

Hey guys, it's been a while. Happy to be back, even if only occasionally. In the last 7 years (how??) I've gone to college, finished a degree and graduated, started working full-time, met my partner, achieved some goals and failed some others. Through all of it, fandom has been a steady side presence, but I've been far less participatory than I'd like.

I've been relatively active as a reader on AO3 for a while now - you can follow me over there at @settledpenthouses if you like. I can't promise I'll be posting anything for sure, but my Google Drive is packed full of little snippets and fragments, and the ideas have always been there, even when I haven't been able to get them onto a page.

My goal in 2019 is to get back into writing! I hope I've improved from where I was 7 years ago - but while I won't be deleting any of my old work here, I also haven't looked at any of it since 2012, so continuing Never Say Goodbye, for example, is not likely. I hope to work in fandoms both old and new and reach out to everyone I used to talk to way back when.

Well, I think it's safe to say NSG is dead in the water... I will probably get back to it at some point, but right now, I just don't feel connected to the story anymore, and I never want to post something I don't feel is my best effort. I'm sorry to those of you who were still holding out hope. Hopefully someday, there'll be words to write that I feel do justice to the characters and to the readers. In the meantime, I do post snippets and oneshots for Hunger Games and other fandoms, and it would mean a lot if you had the time to read and review. Thanks!
