They're thirty-one when they find out. Rather, she tells him and he finds out that way. Either way, it hurts. The word 'Leukemia' really freakin' hurts. But the word 'Leukemia' with the words 'Rachel Berry? They hurt a million and one times more.

She's a sophomore in college when she starts to speak of their senior year. "Italy," she'd say with wide eyes. "It'll be perfect." He doesn't do anything but support her idea because, well, isn't that what he's always done?

He tells her to "break a leg" in hopes that she'll spew out an "I love you". She doesn't.

They run away together Sunday morning and by Sunday evening she's already worried when they'll be headed back because, well, she's Spencer Hastings - she worries about everything.
