The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants:

Realm: Resident Evil (movies)
Pairing: Mostly Alice/Carlos. Though there is some Jill/Nicholai and mentions of OC.
Explanation: This is a working title and I'm open to suggestions to change it to, as this is really just too long. This is (mostly) an in-progress piece, I chip away at it piece by piece. That's because it's fairly meaty as a story and I'm trying really carefully to keep the characters as real as I can (not easy, I must say). I have lost count of the times I deleted potential chapters because they weren't right. Figures, I'm a perfectionist. Could you tell? Anyway, keep the love coming. It's fantastic to have support and encourages me to write more.

Bedroom Hymns:

Realm: Inception
Pairing: Araidne/Arthur - duh.
Explanation: This story is complete. It was a one-shot after all. I am currently working on creating a more in depth story that looks at the development of this relationship in a story. That is, it will cover some material in the one shot whilst filling in epic gaps. It'll most likely be called Dreaming Out Loud and the first chapter will probably be headed your way in the next month or so.

Dreaming Out Loud:

Realm: Inception
Pairing: Ariadne/Arthur
Explanation: As explained above, this will be an extended version of the one shot Bedroom Hymns and will focus more on the development of the relationship and the drama etc. I decided to embark on this challenge due to a review on Bedroom Hymns by FlamingoOnFire suggesting that my characterization of Arthur was spot on whilst my characterization of Ariadne left something to be desired. I saw this as an opportunity to attempt the realization of a story that builds Ariadne believably from who she was in the movie to who she is in my one shot.

Wildfire

Realm: Sky High
Pairing: Layla/Warren
Explanation: I am an adamant fan of Steven Strait who plays Warren Peace in Sky High. I felt that in this movie the character of Warren was much more interesting and I was tempted by the possibility of this pairing for its apparent impossibility and the absolute explosion of fire (excuse the pun) that would be created between the two. Hence, I am writing this story which will look at a not-at-all happy storyline in which each character disintegrates rather fantastically. So, I wrote the first chapter for this. But then I took it off. Because I didn't like it. I'll try again later. Sorry, dears.

Realm: X-Men
Paring: Rogue/Gambit
Explanation: I have never read the comic books, only the movies. And whilst these two characters live in entirely separate decades, I am very intrigued by the dynamic of this pairing, wishing they could have existed in the movie fandom. I have not yet decided on a title - it will probably be a clever pun on cards or something witty because I be cool like that. You may also expect this before 2012. Suggestions of possible areas of conflict to help in the driving of the narrative would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, I may choose to delve into any random fandoms without warning. I apologize in advance if I butcher your favorite pairings or fandoms - believe me, it is entirely unintentional and I am doing my absolute best.

So: just a note about the weird stanza at the top of this profile; it's mine. Please don't steal, I wrote that shit. Yes. I write poetry. Because I'm an emotionally unstable teenager with a love of the english language and an obsession with pouring my heart out. Anyway, yeah. Mine. If you're nice to me I might send you a poem or two for you to read (and criticize). Maybe I'll try publish some poetry some day. Maybe not. Whatever.
