For someone who has never had a broken heart, you certainly nailed the emotion of one.

I had read these stories before and was going through my lists and came across these again. I've enjoyed them very much, you're Catching Fire one being my favorite. Thank you for the share.
One thing though, you say in this chapter that Peeta is 17...not at his first reaping. He is the same age as Katniss, 16.

Wow! I just read this straight thru after finding it. I absolutely loved it! Your writing is really amazing! Peeta is, by far, my favorite character, in the books, movies, and fanfics. I'd like to see you do an AU with Peeta as the hero and primary character of the story. I cannot wait to read more of your work!

Good job showing his pain, he always gets grief for being weak but this shows he was actually trying
