deniselynne1966 chapter 1 . 2/16/2014 I loved this one...beautiful 3 |
subversivegrrl chapter 1 . 12/15/2013 You know, I never even thought about Carol's claustrophobia and that damned closet where she got trapped. Ugh. Something else for the box of horrors/prompts. This is excellent, BTW. :) |
TheRealSonia chapter 1 . 12/3/2013 I liked it. I like that you imagined what Carol might have think about during that time. |
Guest chapter 1 . 3/18/2013 This was amazing - loved it :) |
witnesstoitall chapter 1 . 1/5/2013 Love is love, pure and simple. I don't think it takes romantic involvement for that to be true, and CAryl is probably the best example of this fact - I don't think anyone can question the unique sort of love they share. It's pure and genuine and for those reasons, it moves people. I think it's very easy to ship Caryl because to ship them is to support love in it's simplest form. Gah. This was fantastic and sad and perfect. The look on Daryl's face in the episode when he found her was heart breaking and you did a wonderful job of capturing that here. Great work (as always) |
MarionArnold chapter 1 . 11/27/2012 LOL at Daryl's sweet potato pie experience, but gross! Loved Carol who is relying on herself, first killing the walkers and then staying strong to get Daryl's attention. |
FrenchFighter chapter 1 . 11/26/2012 Beautiful, I loved it. |
littlemonsterteeth chapter 1 . 11/24/2012 Awww. I really liked this. Daryl's mental anguish prior to finding what he thought would be zombie Carol and then finding her alive has definitely been a defining moment in the series for me. Thanks for expanding on what could arguably be my favorite scene. |
The Jaxter chapter 1 . 11/24/2012 Dear Endoh Misaki, First, this is probably one of the most accurate portrayals of Carol getting lost in the prison. It shows her strife, her courage, and most importantly her fight for survival. I certainly enjoyed the memory of T-Dog and his memory of his grandmother's sweet potato pie. It's nice to know despite the dour situation the group had suffered over the few months of winter, and still have that sense of familial ties to be able to cherish these memories. However, the most important part of your written work is the fact that even in a memory of T-Dog. Carol's thoughts always stray to Daryl, and that itself is an important aspect of their relationship. It might not even be romantic, but it's wonderful to see how they each bright something good from the other and that makes the relationship all the more special. It probably doesn't even register completely that they think about each other, but its always in the back of their mind. I also like that you did have Carol feel a sense of betrayal at the thought that the others thought she was dead. If anything, Carol understands everything. I would like to believe, right next to Herschel: she was the sister/aunt/mother to the group. The sounding board to those who are not in charge (i.e: Daryl, Rick) and acted as the person to keep things positive for the group. I simply loved it, and thank you for sharing. Signed, The Jaxter |
zombieslayer5 chapter 1 . 11/24/2012 I ship CARYL like no tomorrow! I loved your story it was well written :) |
Nova802 chapter 1 . 11/24/2012 I really enjoyed this! Great job weaving the background stories in-I've been wondering how far back Carol's abuse goes as well. I found this part to be particularly moving: "There was a moment where she felt him linger, as his body quivered briefly. She hadn't been this close to Daryl since the day he had stopped her from going to Sophia. But she could feel it, in the way he held her then. He had thought she had died, and that had hurt him." I hope you'll consider writing more for this pairing. |
