I used to wonder if people actually read these things, but I occasionally read others', so I'll keep it brief.

I'm a 29 year-old lawyer working in London. I've studied both History and Law degrees and it makes me strangely obsessive about detail.

I've been a member of this site for a crazy number of years. I recently purged most of my stories on the grounds that I wrote them as a teenager and they are far too embarrassing to be let loose on the public. I have my own backups, just so I can occasionally remind myself of how far I've come.

Reviews make my day, and so I make the effort to write proper ones for other people. It's always great to hear from other authors, so feel free to get in touch.

UPDATE ON ASK NO QUESTIONS 19/08/19

This story has been published for nearly 10 years. That's right, A DECADE. Without being finished. I am so so grateful that I still receive reviews telling me how much they love the story and asking whether I will finish it. You've all been so patient.

I am absolutely determined to finish this. Part of the trouble is, as you may appreciate, that I started writing this story when I was 19. I've come a long way since then. Whilst I am thrilled that so many of you love it, large swathes of it make me cringe with embarrassment. It makes finishing it difficult.

On that basis, I've decided to rewrite the whole thing. I've done about one-third so far. I've got a comprehensive plot outline (something I have never done before...) and am taking it scene by scene. I'm going to finish the whole story before I replaced any of the existing content. I don't want to get into the same mess again. For that reason, we might have a few months before we get there. I would love to finish this before the end of the year. But I've promised before and failed, so all I can say is I'm doing my best. I'll post updates here when I have a better idea of timeline.
