Like Rowling, I write what I want to write and when I want to write it. Hopefully someone else is as entertained by my stories as I am.

I am a graduate student in the Midwestern United States. I read and write fanfiction to get a break from writing technical stuff for school and to live outside of papers and research for a short time. I've read a lot of fanfiction on this site and others and will admit to being influenced by it. I've also been inspired by it. So my thanks to all the authors out there! I hope that everyone thinking about writing their own contribution to the fanfiction will take the chance to post it. I'd love to read your work someday.

4/13/2011: I haven't entirely abandoned either of my fics 'in progress'. However, after some deliberation I have decided to rewrite them both. My life has changed significantly since I began these fics and hopefully my writing will have improved as well. I will not post, repost or edit either fic until I have completed or nearly completed it.

On a separate note; despite being asked to do so, I will not continue Letters from Boy. If someone would like to make this into a full-fledged fic please feel free and let me know that you intend to do so.
