This story is amazing. I like that Harry is powerful and that you didn't show Dumbledore as manipulative. Although I wish Remus hadn't died. Thank you for writing this story, it has been a pleasure reading it.

So I absolutely loved this. I started Midnight Guardian believing is was just a one-shot but next thing I knew I was binging the series. I love how the major plot points were kept but adapted in a different way. I was truly immersed in this series, crying at death (potential or otherwise) and heart pounding at the final battle. I haven't read a series that moved me to tears this much since I read deathly hallows for the first time in 2007. Thank you for this beautiful masterpiece of a series that I will forever recommend to friends and family.

I have been binging this series for the last few days and I love it to pieces. It's wonderfully written and a really really awesome take on the butterfly effect. What if? I also love that you gave me my dose of powerful Harry but without him being ridiculously overpowered. A lot of people don't give him a price to pay for it either.

I love that Remus and Sirius were a much bigger part of Harry's life than in the books. They were so underused, Remus especially.

I will say that it's 'singled' not 'signaled' but that's just nitpicking. Phenomenal series, thank you for sharing this and I hope you keep writing! You've got a gift!

Again well paced and well written.

The plot points of mistakes with real cost and therefore chances for real development were removed in this story and the focus shifted on repeating the same emotional conflict over and over again.

Character development is abrupt if not non-existent.

Some things are just very unsatisfying, Harry's distance to his friends, his capabilities as a general without prior experience, his immediate acceptance of Remus condition, the apparent dominating victory with negligible losses.

There are also the original plot ideas that were not really taken advantage of, being Hogwarts' confidant was only used in minor plot points, his empath abilities only a gimmick in some fights and his healing abilities were never deciding over a fate. I don't get the reason for those other than make Harry seem more special/burdened.

So, I read the whole series and it was a good read, but the focus on the sirius/remus comfort and emo angst wasn't doing it for me.

Wait did Remus die though! Was the baby a boy or girl! Will there be something about Harry’s life in New York! Omg this was one of the best fanfiction series I have ever read! I laughed, I cried, I even screamed at points! Love the story so much! ️

I just spent the past week reading this series. When I got to this one, I was wondering why it was so different from Deathly Hallows. Then I realized it was written before DH came out lol. Great job, awesome series!

I'm glad Harry chose to go to New York. It was the best fit for him especially since they had a natural healer and empath for Harry to learn from. I'm also glad that Sirius and Remus ended up going with him but I'd like to kick Sirius in the nads for making Harry feel so rotten during the time he was setting this up. Hmmm, is it Harry's baby or his little brother?

I think I’m going to cry, this just ended so perfectly.
