Not much to say about myself; I'm Filipino/Caucasian, born 1986, single, a Navy enlisted vet, and have enjoyed this site since my high school years. I love to see the progression and growth of the potential authors on this site and hope to inspire some great stories. Please remember that while everyone can flame and troll, a good well thought out critique can have a far greater impact… with less potential suicide.

Also, writing FanFiction is mostly a part time hobby for me so don't expect updates vary fast or even at regular intervals. Don't expect many stories from series in my favorites list either as I'm not sure I could properly break from cannon while writing them.

Currently I have three active stories and as those take up most of my writing time I won't be posting any new ones for a while at least. I hate writers who post up like a hundred fics and never make it past like chapter thee on most of them! So I will update and finish them, it just might take me a while.

Why the heck is it that anime/manga writers seem so set on pairing characters that would utterly fall apart in real life?

Okay, is anyone else tired of the canon pairing being the predominate pairings on this site? This site is to explore alternate possibilities to the canon stories, so personally I'd like to see more "crack" pairings. Honestly if I see another Nalu, Jerza, or Naruhina fic I'm going to scream! Personally I don't see how the writers could pair up Jellal and Erza, cause every woman just loves the man who beats them, forces her to abandon their family/friends, turns said people against them, and then tries to kill them; it's like a animated abuse poster. Now I know people will say, “Jellal wasn't in control of himself!” or “He's so romantic and caring now!” BULL SHIT! Jellal is just shitty, emo, and generally not as cool Sieg Hart, now you want to see REAL devotion THAT guy litterally DIED just to protect the woman he cared for. Erza needs to move on to someone, ANYONE, better and I myself like her paired with Natsu or even Laxus. And the Nalu pairing is just as bad. Those two litterally have NOTHING in common and are just a generally bad matchup, and don't even get me started on how convoluted and contrived Lucy's entire character actually is. If not for utterly ridiculous "Fairy Tail haks" or one of the others saving her ass Lucy would (and in my opinions should) have died countless times over. I actually like Hinata and Naruto getting together, but at this point it's like a song that's been played to death! Naruhina is utter proof to me that there can be such a thing as to much of a good thing. Now on to my most HATED canon pairing of all time… RanmaAkane. How in the Nine Hells could anyone think that those two would do anything more than eventually kill Ranma off, likely due to food poisoning or spousal abuse. Now honestly the only ones in the series who I see Ranma seriously doing well with are Ukyo or Kasumi, but litterally anyone other than Kodachi would be better than Akane. The youngest Tendo is quite litterally one of the top 5 or 10 most unbalanced characters in the entire series. She is deluded, self absorbed, arrogant, and has anger management issues that would make Freud throw his hands up and just say shock her till she's better or a vegetable. Then again I rarely agree with Takahashi-sensei's pairing choices and often wonder just what goes on in her head when pairing up these likely to kill each other characters.
