"*sob* Izuku...I'am so sorry. Your mother is so useless. *hiccup*" said a woman weeping on a bar counter.
"Uh...ma'am?"
"Please...another one." She begged, sliding the bottle over to the dark mist.
"That is your sixth bottle, of sake. Ma'am, I think it's best if you go for the night."
"Another!" She screamed. Her eyes puffy and red. The outfit that was supposed to represent that of a traditional housewife, full of stains, and dirt. Long hair disheveled, with the smell of alcohol plaguing her breath.
In all honesty, the dark mist felt uncomfortable being in the presence of a miserable woman. It wasn't like she came here happy either. Her cries and wails were silent but the offer of liquor.
After a second bottle, the dark mist heard her rambled on her mistakes, well her is a mistake. Being a failure to her son who just found out yesterday that he was indeed quirkless. For the past two hours, her ramblings went from her son to her husband then her father. On and on about how she was a lousy, useless, disgraceful, piece of shit on a world of wonderful things and people.
To say the dark mist was uncomfortable would be the understatement of his life. He tried consoling the woman, innocent as she seemed and probably was. It was not a gentleman way to use force to convince a downtrodden mother. Kurogiri silently got another bottle and slid it over to the woman of the night. Helplessly watching the bottle of sake, pleading the bartender, not him. Kurogiri could almost see the sweat coming off the bottle as Inko pried the cap off with drunken ease.
There goes another sake. The mist will mourn the loss of the fallen liquor.
"Another...more!"
'What the fuck?' Kurogiri thought as he witnessed another bottle finished.
This was getting out of hand.
"Ma'am please, just leave for the night. You already drank seven bottles. It seems you can hardly stand at that."
"Izuku...Izuku, how can I ever show my face to him. My boy, my dear*burp*sweet boy. I am sorry baby...I am sorry." The woman seemed to have passed out on the countertop. Her soft snores and drool were a sign to leave for the time being.
Heading into another room, he walked up to a man who seemed to have peered his eyes away from the newspaper.
"Kurogiri, I didn't ask for you."
"Master, I need your assistance."
"With whatever for?"
"A woman, she doesn't seem to leave... or stop drinking my liquor."
"A woman, you have dealt with females before, what makes this one any different."
"Well...she is miserable."
"And you need my help for what?"
"To read her memories, so I know where to drop her off," Kurogiri said.
"I see. Very well, let's get this done. I have to train Tomura soon."
"The boy? Didn't you already train him."
"I did, but he is nothing but a mere disappointment." The man spoke as he got up and lead Kurogiri to the bar. Just as he turned the corner, the man freaked out and hide back. Kurogiri, confused and worried peered around the same corner to find no-one besides the woman.
"Master, what's wrong?" The black mist never had seen his master so shaken to the core.
"Why the fuck is she here?!" He scarcely asks himself.
"Who? The woman? She was here to drink away her problems."
"I already figured by why her?!"
"Master do you know her?"
"She uh...is my..., my wife..." the man whispered.
"YOUR WIFE?! Since when were you married?! Jesus, you know how many bottles I gave her because she demanded?!"
"Oi, a guy needs some love too alright! Fuck, I just...didn't expect her to show up now of all places." The suited leader mumbled to himself.
"Well, what do we do?"
"Just hang on, I have just the thing." Master said before going to one of the other rooms before coming back out with a mask
"A Darth Vader mask?" Kurogiri question, confused.
An inhale and exhale that clearly sounded like the Star Wars movies portrayed can be heard. Without saying a word, Master walked past to meet the miserable woman by the countertop.
"You have cause a disturbance. You will tell me the source of this conflict." Master did the impression, pulling off a Jedi mind tricks hand motion. As if hypnotizing the young woman. With swerving movement, the woman woke up groggy and sobbing at the masked man.
"My son, he doesn't have a quirk...it's my fault."
Master pauses. He had a son? Why didn't Inko call him? Let him know? When was this? Actually, why did he even bother asking? As far as he was concerned, he didn't know about this child. For all he knew, his wife could have had sex with another man.
"Master, can we please get on with this? I think she's pissing herself."
The masked man realizes the wet mess dripping down from the stool. He looked at the woman's expression, one full of fear. Did he seriously release his murderous intent in front of his wife? What a bastard? Oh well.
Putting his hand on the woman's head, he read the mind but really he shouldn't. He saw the kid, he looked like himself just with the green highlights. Not knowing if it was a pity, but the Master decided then and there.
"You will bring your son here. I will grant him his wish for power." The Jedi Mind Tricks were at play once more. His wife, hypnotized once more just nodded her head before getting up and walking out of the bar without anymore complaint.
"Kurogiri, make sure she gets home safe and sleeps the rest of the night." Master ordered.
"As you wish sire." Kurogiri warp himself away.
The next day~
The hand placed gently on the curly locks felt soft. With a quick activation, the child felt his whole body burned hot beneath the hand planted on top of him. Izuku never felt so out balance. His body was adjusting to the added power imbued in him.
"You will have the power combined by both your parents." Master said with the Darth Vader mask still on, putting on the best impression he could. The boy and mother were right before them. Hypnotized and obediently waiting. Kurogiri was away on another assignment but the Master could manage just fine by himself.
"Okay..." Izuku said in a daze.
"Thank you, Mr." Inko gratefully bows with dazed eyes.
"Enough, now it is time for you to leave." The man dismisses the mother and son. Both nod their heads and turned to leave. Forever forgetting the location of the bar and the man in their lives. As far as the mother and child knew, it has only been them.
As it always will be...
Ten years later~
"Izuku don't go!" Inko pleads her darling boy, holding his arm fiercely, preventing him from running towards the flames.
"Kaachan is in there! I have to go mom! I need to save him!" Izuku uses his quirk to repel Inko off his arm and began his sprint into the danger zone.
"IZUKU!" His mother's cry fell on deaf ears as the heating sensation all around him burned hotter. Izuku attracted a couple of burning rubble and had them chase him into the fray.
"It's you! Damn kid! Just die!" The sludge villain went for a swing, thinking the kid would run into the blunt attack. Izuku didn't. Instead, he abruptly stopped his movements and canceling his quirk on the burning rubble. Because of the inertia, inferno debris flew past the boy and hit their target.
"Argh! Motherfucker!" The sludge villain felt his lips and eyes burn. This distraction allowed the blonde teen to be free.
"Deku? What are you doing here?!" Katsuki yelled as he landed on the ground.
"No time to talk!" Izuku shouted back as he senses for any other hot objects. A car behind the sludge villain. Using his quirk, he attracted the couple-ton sedan before the villain could even think. Izuku witnesses the car hitting the target. An agonizing scream from the villain silenced the boys and crowd. The heated steel was crushing the sludge villain under the pressure holding him down,
"You...please spare me..."
Izuku walked forward slowly. He was cautious that the villain would try to attack again if he-himself hurried to repel the car off of it.
"Deku...wait. The other heroes are coming." Bakugo grasps Izuku's shoulder.
"He's bleeding Kaachan...and burning as well," Izuku said with empathy.
"Just wait, some of the heroes will get this settled."
Izuku heard Katsuki but was once again on deaf ears. He raised his hands and made the attempt to push the vehicle off of him. Katsuki backed away into a fighting position. Both boys didn't like this one bit. The water hose hero was occupied with dealing with the other fires.
Once the car was moved away. The sludge villain didn't make any more movements, but the sounds of his groans were prominent. Izuku sighed with relief in his breath. Backing away and turning towards Katsuki, he smiled.
"Welp, it's done. Let's just hope there is nothing more to it." Izuku said while patting his classmate's shoulder before walking over to the crowd. The heroes were stunned, they had witnessed a kid, in middle school no less, just apprehend a villain.
Thanks to their stunned expressions, they couldn't prevent from a worrisome mother from running past them and hugging the boy.
"Izuku! Please don't do that ever again!"
"But mom-Kaachan was in danger. Besides I am going to be a hero remember?"
"Then...at least just be careful next time. Much more careful." Inko tearfully pleaded as she snuggled into her son's chest. Izuku smiled warmly, his arms wrapped around her.
"I will mom. I will."
The afternoon was filled between the heroes praising Izuku and Katsuki for handling the situation greatly. The curly-haired teen didn't really care. He was glad that villain was going behind bars now and that his classmate is safe.
Walking home with his mother was rather quiet but not unwelcomed. They both had a stressful day. Izuku was hoping to get a good nights rest once he got back home. He noticed his mother was walking closer next to him, even to the point where she was rubbing shoulders and leaning her head on the crook of his neck. Izuku didn't see any issue and reciprocated the gesture, wrapping his arm around his mother's shoulder, bringing her closer.
"Izuku...dear? Can we make a pit stop real quick?" Inko asks lowly.
"Sure mom, lead the way."
The pair took a detour from the normal route home to a nearby park. It was sunset and weekday so not many people were around. Inko leads Izuku to a bench deep in the park.
"Let's sit down..."
"...alright."
Izuku was starting to feel a bit suspicious but brushed it off as maybe his mother was going through a hard moment right now. He looked at her, head still resting on next to his neck.
"Mom? Is something the matter?"
"It's nothing...dear."
"It doesn't seem like nothing."
"Really I am fine."
"No...something is bothering you. I am all ears if you are comfortable with sharing your issues."
Inko didn't reply after that. She just readjusted her position with her straddling him. Taken aback, Izuku didn't say anything. He was confused and not sure what to think of this until he felt soft lips on his. His own mother gave him a kiss that was akin to what lovers share.
His face was flush just as his mother's. Both felt so intimate and willing to continue.
'Ah fuck me.' Izuku thought to himself in dismay.
Why would he think such a comment? Well, to put it bluntly, his quirk...
...was to attract hot things.
