Author has written 18 stories for RWBY, and Nomad of Nowhere. Hey y'all, there isn't a lot to say about me... mostly because I don't know what to write. I'm 23 years old from the UK and am passionate about Music, the Arts and Writing. Cover image drawn at Moi, because I am good at some things and I like to showcase it! I've had a couple of reviews recently that criticised my choice of scenario I put the characters and said characters' responses, and I would like to address those on here as a blanket statement The situations I put the characters in and their reactions to it are entirely my choice. I do my absolute best to keep everyone as close to their canon counterparts as I possibly can in my stories, but that becomes increasingly more difficult as the characters become less and less focussed upon. There is so much more that people can call me up on for making any of Team RWBY out of character than they can for Weiss' mother or Summer Rose, who have had no screen time as of yet and only fleeting mentions in canon dialogue. Not everything I do is going to be loved and adored by everyone, I get that and I understand that completely. Critique is good, and it improves a story to know what I'm not doing as well as I possibly could. But when these criticisms come away from the story and instead turn to me; calling me derogatory terms or liking me to something I'm not because of my choice of scenario, that is where I draw a long, hard line. I am doing this because I want to, because it breaks up the monotony of my life working retail 9am-6pm most days, and it gives me something to focus on and work towards. So long as it doesn't attack me personally, I am open to feedback and actively ask for it at the end of every chapter and story I do. The second it does, it demoralises a person. In the RWBY FanFic world, what if "Coeur Al'Aran" got constant negative feedback aimed at him, and he stopped outputting his work? We'd be without some of the most amazing RWBY works on this site, that's what! I hope this clarifies anything up for anyone who thinks about it, because this obviously needed to be said. Anything that comes aimed at me from now on that disrespects me as a person or author will be removed. Repeated instances will warrant reporting. And don't be a dick about this; if you generally don't have an account, that's fine, but don't hide behind an anon review to spit venom my way. ~FeugoFox42 A few things about how I write and the different text I use. Look of the Text used in my Stories Text like this - is normal written word "Text like this" - normal dialogue from someone "Text like this" - used for when someone is communicating via Sign Language (most notably Neo in a lot of my stories) 'Text like this' - denotes thoughts @ - 'Text like this' - I use this whenever I want Scrolls used for messages Story Lengths A Multi-Chapter Story is as the name suggests; in my eyes it's anything over 10 Chapters & 25k words A Mini Story is a story that's got between 4 and 9 Chapters and less than 25k words Three-Parter, Two-Shot & One-Shot are all self explanatory. Mini-One Shots are any small story I write with less than half words than a typical Chapter in the rest of my works (so, anything sub ~1,300 words) Favourite Pairings (subject to change) BumbleBY (Yang x Blake) [The first pairing I came across] Crosshares (Coco x Velvet) Renora (do I need to explain who this is?) Orange Sorbet (Neo x Fox) [you can thank my own story for that, I get really invested in it] |
