adorable. and yeah, Winter has loved Qrow, and cared about him and I think the love for Tai was her subconsciously trying to 'move on' from someone she thought might not have feelings for her. And maybe a bit of fascination like Eowin had with Aragorn. She loved the adventure and wide world she saw in Strider. But then she found someone she truly fell for.
The ending with kids was sweet. Qrow is such a family man.

ermm, Winter why is it wrong to be in love with him? I mean yeah, he's your friend but that's like...first qualification XD and secondly, you had a crush on him before as a kid. Doesn't mean it's childish to be in love with your friend. Tai technically was your friend too. and Yang is cute and family is everything to Qrow. Again, wonder how you'll deal with Ruby and everything. is there going to be...polyamory where Raven and Tai both marry Summer and decide upon second kid, or is it more canon that Raven suddenly wooshes away? My first thought in the second scenario is that Qrow might to self-sacrificing bs again and try to get Winter and Tai together again because he's sure she's still crushing on the guy and now she can be with him like it was always meant to be.

Oh...Winter still sticking to that? Seriously the boy's head over heels in love with you still *shakes head*. Poor, flustered little bird. and Yang is about to enter the scene, huh? I wonder...since I've got impression Branwen twins are not from the tribe in this one(or were they adopted by someone, after being taken from there?) how is this going to go with Summer and Ruby? I can't see Tai cheating on Raven so is this...never gonna happen or is Raven going to leave him soon to become a bandit or just run away? I'm curious how this one is going to play out and if Qrow is going to do something idiotic like trying to pair Winter with Tai when he's single again. Because they're supposed to be or something like that? Or is Winter going to hide, out of embarrassment and confused feelings for Qrow and find out Raven's gone after she received an invitation to next wedding? Or to Summer's funeral or in some other way finds out about the new arrangements by finding out Tai has two little kids by two different women and both are gone? and Qrow is a total mess trying to keep everyone together while Tai is locked up in his room? I'm so, so curious about it.
This was a very good chapter. I could so see Winter looking out into the Atlas and Qrow being waay too chipper and way to hyper for it to be natural at seeing her. Idk for me it seemed like he's super nervous and tries to act as if he's not hurting still and as if nothing has happened. Tries waay to hard. Keep up the good work and I hope to see next chapter soon!

this hurt. Poor Winter, she was hopeful like any girl in love, saw Tai smiling and saying he feels exactly the same way, that he loves her but he didn't. It always hurts...and Qrow was there for her but him knowing hurt her too...I mean I get that he should've told her, but then again...he didn't want to hurt her and kill her hope. Poor things.

Oh dear...he has got it really bad. I'm a sucker for this kind of romantic musings though. Qrow is a true romantic, and probably read too much of Remnant's equivalent of Byron, Austen and Goethe. Makes me think of Persuasion Letter though. a bit.

I wish the chapters were a little bit longer, but at the same time the pacing is also perfect so it's hard to say lol. Great work so far!

Poor Winter...she still loves him deep down, but she doesn't know it or isn't ready to recognize it yet. But she is Jelous of Summer...this is only going to get more complicated...oh love, love why can't it ever be easy

Poor bird, he tries so hard. Bless his noble heart. I mean he tried to set her up with Tai and heck probably would be best man at their wedding, blathering about how wonderful true love is while his heart breaks or something. He even tried to convince Tai to give her a chance, because he might end up liking her. Like, really he could've dropped it and rejoice Tai doesn't like her, but he is sad on her behalf, and still tried to make Tai like her. Because she loves Tai and therefore should be loved back because this is how things are supposed to be. The best girl and the best guy. Like in a movie. But nope. Poor Qrow...really I do hope Winter changes her mind. I mean there is nowhere she will get with Tai and with how pissed Raven is, she'd now go out with Tai just to bring the point home.
