New Moana fic: Another Chance to Be a Hero (Sorry if it sucks, it's my first Moana fic. I'm thinking of rewriting it.)

April is the daughter of both Marge and Homer Simpson in AU stories (I decided that when writing some Simpsons fics on Quotev - Framing Ned Flanders being the only one published so far on there - while I still had The Simpsons: Tapped Out on my phone before uninstalling it and reinstalling this app). She has brown, wavy hair and likes wearing things with floral designs. She is also adopted and has wavy brown hair.

1. The whole THOH (Treehouse of Horror) segment after Homer gets bitten by the black widow spider and has to communicate by passing gas (I thought those jokes were getting old to me but I was wrong).

2. That moment in the THOH segment where soon after Homer buys this teleportation machine, in one part he pushes one of them up to the toilet before heading back downstairs, faces the machine and unzips his zipper before Marge says, "Homer! No!"

3. Any moment where Homer gets drunk. (Example: In Viva Ned Flanders, when the wedding tape plays, it shows the guy asking if Homer takes the girl he's with to be his wife, and Homer says, "What did you call me?!")

4. That moment in one THOH where Marge prevents the kids from watching Itchy and Scratchy by taking the batteries out of the remote after turning off the TV, and Homer starts playing a harmonica, and after he sings Bart closes the door.

5. That moment in Dog of Death where Homer goes to Mr. Burns to ask for money and after Homer begins to talk about Santa's Little Helper, Mr. Burns starts to repeatedly press the Security button under his desk.

6. The moment in Catch 'Em if You Can where Bart says there isn't something (I don't remember what he said) in the family, and Homer starts strangling Bart through the hole in the wall that was created by Homer's hands as he went to strangle Bart.

7. The moment in one episode (I don't remember the title) where Homer says, "Like they say, the older, the wiser." And Bart says, "More like the balder, the wider", causing Homer to strangle him.

Why I Ship PatBob: Because if you watch the show, SpongeBob and Patrick have been best friends since they were babies. After all the stuff they've been through that you think would break their friendship, they've still managed to stay best friends in the end. Plus you gotta admit there are some cute moments in the show between these two. Unless it's the fact they're both cute, which gets me thinking that when they play or at least do something together I find it cute. Unless it's just the fact I ship them which makes the moments between these two cute. Idk.

Fun Facts:

1. For those of you who don't know, SpongeBob was originally going to be a show for adults, and SpongeBob and Patrick were going to be - that's right - a gay couple. They were going to air it on Adult Swim but Family Guy took the time slot.

2. In Reef Blowers, the sound equipment was broken so they couldn't do any voice recordings. That's why it's silent and there's only music and sound effects.

3. In the episode The Secret Box, there was - in earlier airings - a picture of SpongeBob with either a lampshade or underwear over his head. (I remembered there used to be a picture after the Christmas party was mentioned, then I find a "Deleted Scenes" page on the SpongeBob wiki and it said that fans remember seeing either a lampshade or a pair of underwear covering SpongeBob's head.)

4. During the recording of the episode Suds, Tom Kenny was actually sick.

5. In Rock-a-Bye Bivalve, if you look close enough in the scene where Patrick comes back from "work" and it shows SpongeBob multitasking, pay attention to his tie. You will see an error where it appears to be black instead of red.

The remake: The Worst Day Ever

Reason for Posting it Here: I decided I wanted to continue it, and I like using this app for writing fanfics now. I'm also considering posting my finished fanfic from that forum I originally wrote this story on, too. It's an idea I got while watching The SpongeBob Movie on Nickelodeon about a month before posting it. It's an alternate scene I came up with where they are still in the fishbowl they found themselves in in the movie, but instead of both being taken out at the same time, Patrick gets taken instead. I won't give too much away in case you want to check it out, unless I post it here before you get a chance. But either way, I hope you enjoy this fanfic until then.

I am currently obsessed with this German SpongeBob song titled Kommt Doch Rein. When I looked up "Kommt Doch Rein" on Google, it translated to "come in". It is a really good song though I don't know what they're saying, and probably never will since I'm not sure how to spell the German words. Though if someone speaks both German and English and can translate for me in a PM, that'd be awesome!

PatBob evidence in SpongeBob episodes (not in any order):

Frankendoodle After Patrick mentions DoodleBob's features, he says with a blush upon seeing how SpongeBob's looking at him, "But it looks good on you, SpongeBob!"

You Don't Know Sponge: When it's revealed that Patrick was getting a gift for SpongeBob and that Larry wasn't his "new best friend", after SpongeBob takes the glasses out of the bag they were in, he says, "I love it. You truly are my best friend." Obviously he sounds touched and is looking at Patrick with big, shiny eyes. Earlier on, SpongeBob is shown to be crying because he thinks his best friend doesn't know anything about him.

Tunnel of Glove: After Pearl states that SpongeBob is not her boyfriend, Patrick says while placing his hands on SpongeBob, "Don't worry, buddy. There are plenty of fish in the streetcar." If that doesn't count as evidence, later on Patrick tries to save him, thinking he was trapped in the power supply room and ripping out the box that provided the electricity to the ride (because it looked like SpongeBob). He then tells the electrician off about "kidnapping" SpongeBob. (Honestly while writing this and the last one, the episode was on Nicktoons, since I watch it at night and often when it's on during the day if I'm not busy.)

The Smoking Peanut: When Patrick is investigating who threw the peanut at the giant clam and he's talking to SpongeBob, there is a close-up where Patrick is shown to be whispering in SpongeBob's ear(?), but then he licks the side of what seems to be SpongeBob's head (in the same close-up) but it's revealed to be a popsicle that has the same colors as SpongeBob, and the same shape.

Love That Squid: When Patrick is commenting on Squidward's "girlfriend" (which was actually SpongeBob acting as Squid's practice date), he seems to be talking in a flirty way. He then proceeds to continue to flirt with SpongeBob. At the end of the episode, Patrick - dressed as a girl - mentions being promised "a movie and some plastic popcorn".

Driven to Tears: After SpongeBob gets out of jail, he says that he's glad that Patrick has a license and that he's his best friend after they both share a hug.

Home Sweet Pineapple: Patrick cries when SpongeBob's parents arrive to pick him up, and he even grabs on to the boatmobile after SpongeBob gets in, crying his eyes out.

I don't think someone would cry like that when it comes to their best friend leaving town, but I can see someone being that way when someone they are in love with has to leave town and there's a chance they will never see or hear from each other again. Then again, it could be Patrick's personality, since according to the wiki he's an adult who acts like he's 3 years old (or something).

Nature Pants: Patrick is so upset over his best friend SpongeBob leaving his home to live with the jellyfish that he cries his eyes out after SpongeBob gives him Ol' Reliable before heading off to live in Jellyfish Fields. Later, Patrick becomes so desperate to get his best friend back that he tries to catch SpongeBob in a jellyfish net and keep him in a jar so he could have SpongeBob with him forever.

Squidward's School for Grown-Ups: In one scene while SpongeBob is chasing after Patrick and Squidward, he says after being left behind, "Don't leave me Patrick", then falls onto his back. He sounded really sad when he said this, and he might have said it that sadly because he didn't want to lose Patrick as his best friend. But it might also count as evidence of PatBob depending on how you look at it.

Gone: It's revealed that after he found out everyone was gone, at some point he made a puppet of Patrick out of hamburger meat. Don't remember the dialogue between him and the puppet (whose dialogue was actually SpongeBob impersonating Patrick), so I don't know if the whole puppet thing could be seen as PatBob. And maybe it could be that he needed someone to go to for his problems, and Patrick is, of course, the one he often turns to first when he's having a certain problem.

Rock-a-Bye Bivalve: After Junior flies away at the end of the episode, Patrick says, "Let's have another!" Yes, judging by SpongeBob's look at the end, Patrick was talking about reproducing.

The Fry Cook Games: At the end of the wrestling scene when SpongeBob and Patrick are pressed against each other, Patrick and SpongeBob's clothes rip apart, revealing SpongeBob wearing pink underwear and Patrick wearing yellow underwear. They then both cry while saying in unison, "You do care!!" Not sure if this has anything to do with evidence of PatBob, but while they're crying and saying that, they're hugging. Just like in Driven to Tears (an episode I mentioned earlier that's from a later season) though, it is just a friendly hug since friends can hug each other too. But I guess it can also be taken as PatBob evidence.

Karate Star: After the Barg-N-Mart collapses due to Patrick's hand getting "a mind of its own" and chopping everything in sight, Patrick discovers SpongeBob is missing. After finding him under some debris from the fallen store, he thinks SpongeBob is gone and gets mad at himself for what he'd done, before he says it was his hand and takes it off. A few seconds before finding SpongeBob, he found a pack of kitchen sponges and mistook them for his best friend. He looked pretty sad, too.

NOTE: I haven't seen Osmosis Jones yet, but I have seen two or more episodes of Ozzy and Drix as a kid (when I was 6). Now after having found Osmosis Jones on TV while changing the guide view to Movies on my X1 remote and remembering the characters on the cover image as soon as I saw them, I started watching clips of Ozzy and Drix on YouTube before finding the show on Dailymotion.

EDIT: After finishing the Ozzy and Drix series on June 17, I saw Osmosis Jones.

Ozzy and Drix Theories/Headcanons:

How Ozzy Knows About What Can Happen to White Blood Cells (Theory/Headcanon): Okay, this is probably pretty obvious, but if you watch the show, when something is going on in Hector's body, sometimes - depending on the virus/what is happening to Hector - Ozzy will state a fact as to what happens to white blood cells when a certain thing happens (e.g. when the body gets too cold, Ozzy becomes delirious, or when a virus reaches Level 3, all white blood cells will become stuck to it). But if you see him state these facts in an episode, you may wonder how he knows these things. The answer? Ozzy and Drix, as I saw someone mention on the comments of this video, has a different continuity from the movie, but they still go from Frank to Hector. So it should be obvious that at one point, these things happened in Frank's body (but not on the same day nor time).

How the Gender Morphosis Works (Theory/Headcanon): I'm considering doing a fanfiction based on how the gender morph thing mentioned in An Out of Body Experience works, but here's my headcanon/theory of how it works. Like Drix said in the episode, if a male cell stays too long in a female's body and doesn't get out, they will permanently become a girl cell. It's never explained how it works to make the cell become a female, but I did come up with a possible explanation as to how it works: the cell's DNA changes to match the DNA of the body it's inside. Once that happens, the cell is stuck in its new female body because its DNA changed completely and once a cell's DNA changes, it can't change back to its old DNA because once its body is changed, there is something that prevents it from ever changing back. Here is the story.

Why Ozzy Went Through Changes Unlike the Other Cell in An Out of Body Experience (Theory/Headcanon): Okay, so we know how this other cell (forgot his name) who claimed to have gotten stuck in a girl's body was normal right? Well, his personality seems different from Ozzy's, and he seems more serious/mature than Ozzy too. So maybe his issues with being stuck in a girl's body (one of them being no football on TV) kept him from going through gender morphosis, and his maturity probably helped with it too. Or he was a male cell who's from Christine's body but he got tired of being there over the years because of the reasons he told Ozzy about.

Ozzy Likes His Job Because of the Adrenaline Rush (Osmosis Jones Headcanon): So I am currently writing a fanfic for Osmosis Jones and I came up with a reason why Jones likes his job, and it was this... He likes the adrenaline rush it gives him and he thinks a certain way about the enemies that enter Frank's body (won't say here because you'll find out how he feels in the story) but he ends up regretting it when he's in a sticky situation.

Drix Doesn't Believe in Ghosts (Ozzy and Drix Headcanon): While writing a new fanfic for Ozzy and Drix, I had the idea of having Drix mention that there's no such thing as ghosts, and I think that'd be fitting for him. I don't really see him as a guy who would believe in them, and seeing how he's pretty smart, I think he would say something about how there's not enough evidence to their existence and mention how ghost videos could be fake(d). I myself believe in ghosts, but I figured Drix wouldn't because he'd know about technology that could be used to fake a lot of videos. I also am aware that there are people out there who could fake ghost videos, so that's why I gave Drix the awareness of that too.

Ozzy Likes Pulling Pranks (Ozzy and Drix Headcanon): Coming from the same story as the headcanon above, I made Ozzy try to scare Drix in the story and now I think he could have a prankster side to him, especially considering his personality in the show. Plus I like the idea of him being a prankster. As cute as his personality is already in the show, I think a prankster side would make him even cuter.

Thrax is Based Off the Anthrax Virus (Osmosis Jones theory): Just look up "Anthrax virus" (without quotes) on Google and think of the symptoms the virus has and how people get infected. Does any of that ring a bell (from what we see in the movie)? Infected animals can spread the virus to humans. The egg was in the monkey's mouth, but there would probably be no way Thrax could've gotten inside the egg then, right?

Well the movie shows us the egg dropped in some hay, so I don't know if Thrax was in the egg before Frank ate it and the egg was laid by an infected chicken, but I have a feeling that it's hinted in the movie that the egg got infected as it touched the hay. Possible hint: "What does he do? Throw his food on the ground before he eats it?"

Of course that was before Thrax appeared so the egg must've looked filthy or something due to all the germs that came out of it.

Why Ozzy Can Sometimes Be a Jerk or at Least Seem Like One (Osmosis Jones Theory/Headcanon): Still coming up with an idea for this and I've thought of a few:

1. Ozzy used to be a nicer guy but the place he grew up in was a bad place to grow up in that was full of people who probably picked on him. Now if a situation occurs that triggers a memory, it will cause him to switch to that mindset. For example, when Drix said he came from a college, Ozzy said, "Great, got me a college boy!" Maybe in his past most people in college would make fun of him? But if that was the case he would probably be hesitant to tell Drix he was poor when he was asked about where he studied. But then again, he doesn't seem to be afraid to say where he came from, so maybe he has lots of confidence.

2. He isn't used to the situation he's in (when it came to Drix he wasn't used to having a partner, nor was he used to working with someone who had a different goal or whatever than him).

3. He has a hard time trusting people due to something that happened in his past. This might explain the "tough guy" attitude he has around new people (like when Drix was new to Frank).

In Hocus Pocus (a SpongeBob episode), SpongeBob is talking to Mr. Magic and Patrick notices a curtain and goes to check it out. Behind it is a fish talking into a microphone and it's revealed that Mr. Magic is only a projection and that he's fake.

Why I love Ozzy (from Osmosis Jones/Ozzy and Drix) So Much: For those of you wondering, Ozzy is my favorite because he's funny and always makes me laugh. Well, you should be able to tell if you look at the quotes I put above this (right above the scenes that are similar), too. And yes, some (if not most) of the quotes are funny, and I just like how they're said. But Ozzy is (and always will be) my most favorite character in the movie and series.

Plus I really wish WB would bring Ozzy and Drix back, or just make another movie and have like a movie series or something... Or just start a show that's for adults somewhere. Idk, but I'd love to see it come back in some shape or form. Adult show, new series based around it, whatever... Though if it comes back and is like Teen Titans Go! or whatever, no thanks! And heck, if its cancellation was caused by shows that rely on stupidity to be funny (like someone on IMDb said might've been the case), well, at least the show and movie still have their share of fans...

Ozzy x Doug (Possibly Hated): I doubt there is a pairing for this, but sometimes when Ozzy says, "My boy is HOT!!!" I make a joke to myself saying, "I ship it." Though I think it'd be cringy if someone made a story/fan art of this pairing. Like please no... And I probably just gave you guys out there still writing fics for this movie ideas, so I'm pretty much f*ed. Well, hopefully I'm not but still.

Ozzy x Leah (Don't Mind It): Okay, I don't really ship this pairing but I don't mind it. The reason? Ozzy's mine b*!! Jk, the real reason I don't really ship it is because, well, I just don't. Plus I saw this movie reel meme on my tablet while searching through Osmosis Jones memes and I noticed this one (the only one I know of so far since it's the only one I've seen and it's on dA) which has that person's least favorite characters as Mayor Phlemming and Leah, and their reason for not shipping Ozzy and Leah (it was the pairing they didn't like) was because she "only liked him when he was famous". But I guess I do agree with that. I mean, if you think about it, she didn't seem to like him until the end after he saved her and became famous for saving Frank. But maybe it was also mostly because he saved her and didn't mess anything up. So who knows what the real reason is?

Least favorite pairing: Maui x Moana - When the trailers first came out, I started to ship them due to Maui saying, "I can watch that all day" and the smile he had on his face as he said it. I misread his smile and from there I started to ship it. After a teacher from the program I went to said they were more like friends, I started to feel I didn't really ship it after that, so today I'm wondering if it was just a phase. Though once I saw the movie for the first time on October 13, 2019 on TV, I still didn't feel I shipped it. Plus to me it seems that Maui and Moana have a sort of best friend/brother-sister relationship in the end. Heck, on the Disney wiki - on Maui's wiki article - in the discussion people are saying something about Maui and Moana should've ended up together. Then I saw someone saying that in Polynesian mythology, Moana would be Maui's daughter. Not sure how they would know this or if it's true...but I still just don't ship them. Also she's 16 according to Disney, and Maui's an adult. I do love writing Maui and Moana friendship fluff and reading it too, though. Also if Moana is an adult in fics shipping the two, then I won't mind it. Which is why I have some Moana x Maui stories in my Favorites (that are well-written and good).

Theories:

Tamatoa wants revenge on Maui for taking his leg: This should be self-explanatory if you listen to the lyrics of the song Shiny, since he sings, "I'd like to give you credit for my start", and before he even appears Maui says, "I took his leg." Also he tries to keep Maui from getting his hook, which means that maybe he's trying to take Maui's hook from him as revenge for his leg being taken.

Maui's memories are linked to his tattoos: Okay, so it seems pretty obvious if you think about it, but there is more to this. So he remembers stuff that happened over 1,000 years ago in the movie, which I think would be impossible maybe for anyone (if anyone were able to live that long), so my best guesses are he either has a great memory or due to his age being the same (like somewhere in his 20s) due to being a demigod he can still remember everything he's done. Or, a third possible one could be that his tattoos could be the cause of him remembering so much. Reason? Well, he seems to remember his parents abandoning him when he was born. Though the Gods may have told him once he was old enough to understand, once he was old enough to be a demigod, the tattoo appeared and it became a part of his memories, so he can't forget.

The reason why Maui mostly keeps his hair down is because he doesn't like talking about the tattoo that's below his neck: I'm sure he doesn't like remembering it often either, so that's why he keeps it hidden. Also I think he's more willing to talk about it to people he knows (and possibly trusts) due to how he eventually told Moana about it when she had asked him.

Maui kept the water he and Moana sailed on calm during their journey: So this thought had come to me on how the water didn't seem dangerous at all after Moana had found Maui and started to adventure with him to Te Fiti. Why do I think that Maui had kept the waters calm? He's "Demigod of the Wind and Sea", duh! If you listen to You're Welcome, it mentions the tides, for example:

The tides, the grass, the ground

Oh, that was Maui just messing around

He literally controlled the ocean on their journey so it wouldn't act up. But why did he control it to keep it calm if he didn't care about Moana at first? Maybe his presence kept it calm. But Moana says she's "friends with the ocean", so maybe it wasn't him controlling it, since once she starts sailing on her way to find him, the ocean doesn't start to act up until a storm starts at night. Then she yells for help and once she's on Maui's island, she says she told it to help her until she realizes it did after seeing the shape of Maui's hook on the rocks. But once they started adventuring together, the ocean never acted up, and how else would Moana be (spoiler alert) saved by a giant wave as Te Kā fired a massive fireball at her? Maybe Maui caused that wave.

Maui was probably abusive to Tamatoa in their last fight: So I was thinking about this, and the possible reason why Tamatoa was abusive to Maui is because maybe before taking his leg, Maui may have hurt Tamatoa, possibly from his own rage or anger, before taking his leg. So maybe Tamatoa wanted Maui to go through the same pain he did and that's why he hurt Maui before trying to eat him. Then he possibly knew that once he bit down on Maui, he would be in the same amount of agony he put Tamatoa through if the bite was successful and that'd be the last thing he'd feel before his eventual death.

Headcanons:

Maui has a fear of anything said to be cursed: I believe this could be possible for Maui, since his theft of the Heart of Te Fiti went terribly wrong, and the fact that when Moana showed it to him he got freaked out by it, even attempting to throw it into the ocean and saying it was cursed, telling her to get it away from him. Also the Heart seems to be the only thing he feared, telling Moana that bad things seem to happen whenever it's out. So this fear of the Heart of Te Fiti drove me to this headcanon.

Maui doesn't do what he does for mortals because he loves them, he does it so he can feel loved: Okay so this has to be canon, since in the beginning of their journey to restore the Heart, Maui tries to get rid of Moana. Also if you listen to the demo version of Shiny, you will hear these lyrics:

They can't see your heart is a vacancy

Also before that in the lyrics it still states him chasing the love of the humans who "make him feel wanted", then goes to say that it's never enough and that he loves himself to get his "armor up", then the lyrics above are sung. I think the demo version just proved this theory I've had to be canon, but I'm keeping it as a headcanon in case it's not canon (even though I believe it is). I believe he may not have any love for mortals because of his abandonment, thinking all mortals are capable of abandoning the ones who need them the most at any time without warning.

Things I noticed in the movie I never noticed my first time watching it:

1. When Maui does the haka to open up Lalotai's entrance, after he finishes he holds his arm out.

2. When Maui transforms into or out of something, his tattoos glow. This can be seen when Maui transforms from a lizard to a human before becoming a shark after jumping off the boat. Also when he becomes a giant hawk before abandoning Moana in the ocean, his tattoos glow too. If you pause at the right moments you can see this.
