Me:

I'm rather average, and I think that's the reason why I like to write. In this world, we cannot slay dragons. There are no fair maiden to be saved, and certainly no evil wizards to defeat. In this world, the good and the bad are not so clear. In this world, somtimes it is not so easy for us to find courage. And so, I lift my pen and create another world on sheets of white paper.

In the world of ink we can, for a brief moment, escape the harsh realities of life where thousands of children are starving and millions dying from war and diseases. In the world of ink, we can be strong and make a difference within the settings of a few chapters and not wait for decades to pass. In the world of ink, good deeds are rewarded.

And when we do finally find our courage between the pages of our stories. Perhaps then, we can bring that courage out into the world we live in, and finally discover that maybe...just maybe we do have the strength to slay the fire-breathing dragons in this world after all.
