I can imagine Rachel slipping back in the rider column, tapping Sam on the shoulder then asking "Hey Sam, can I borrow your frying pan?"

When he questioningly hands it over, she chirps out a "Thank you!" and trots off. A few minutes pass, and a loud *CLANG* peals out. A minute later, Rachel hands it back with a smile and wanders off again, leaving a very confused Fellowship.

That's...my favourite mental image ever, period.

I was kinda hoping Rachel would say something like "But if you try and get in my bed again, I'll do everything in my fuckin' power to put a dagger twixt your legs."

I do want to know why the hell she lost her height and her hair changed colours, considering that wouldn't have made hanging around Bree, Rohan and Gondor all too hard but whatever.
