Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that read this letter, on a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. This isn't fake, apparently, if you copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow.

I read this story years ago and loved it. Rereading many of your works again and still love reading them. I love the drama and the human emotions you convey in this story. I hope you continue this version KakaSaku someday so we can find out how their story goes.

I too was very pleasantly surprised that there were more chapters added to this from when I first read it. This is such a good piece of writing, the mood is set so well and the characters are so well defined. The storyline is going to stick in my head for a long time. So glad to still be able to read your fics.

Hi Leafy, I saw a fanart on tumblr recently, which led back to this fic... and I’m so glad! What a fun story. I kind of remember the oneshot version, but not the newer chapters, so it was tremendous fun reading it all again.

There is so much action, and who can resist a double agent Kakashi doing his best to protect a med student Sakura? I love how Akatsuki is portrayed as an organized crime ring, with familar characters causing general mayhem. The large city of Konoha becomes a character too, with all the seedy, grimy danger.

The details of the diner and Sakura's thoughts and feelings are so realistic. You do a wonderful job of bringing it all to life!

I realize the last update was years ago, but the fic has my imagination spinning now. I wonder what Tsunade is like and what Sakura would think after meeting her. Would Sakura crave her ordinary student life again, or would she become the new prodigy and successor to the ANBU organization?

There is a line that teases what Naruto and Sasuke had been up to, which is watching over Sakura at school. That's a whole nother topic begging for exploration. It makes you wonder how they would interact in this AU world.

Ah, and that cliffhanger with Genma. Hopefully he escaped danger!

Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the story again. Thanks for writing and sharing. :)

This chapter is by far my favorite. Watching Kakashi as he realizes he has no control over his emotions with Sakura, or his reactions.

In some ways he is more venerable than she is here. She is scared and lost, but he is experiencing emotions he has pushed down for so long it must be overwhelming.

This has progressed beautifully and if your Muse ever inspires you to come back to it I will be so excited to learn what happens next. If not I have really enjoyed the 5 chapters you have shared with us. Thank you
