![]() Author has written 8 stories for Vampire Academy, Harry Potter, Merlin, and Fairy Tail. Hey, 42 here. I'm a girl, still in school, and I enjoy reading, writing (fanfiction and original works, though I've never finished any of my original stuff nor do I intend to post it anywhere in the near future), drawing, and fencing. I excel in mathematics and have skipped a grade in school in Math and French. I am on the short side, wimpy as hell (muscle-wise), and very sarcastic (personality-wise). I have dark brown hair and eyes. For privacy purposes, I prefer not to use my real name, so please just refer to me as 42. I read a lot. My favorite books include Harry Potter, Vampire Academy, Divergent (and Insurgent), The Infernal Devices, The Infernal Devices (and The Mortal Instruments, though I prefer TID), Maximum Ride (mainly just the first four), The Birthright Trilogy (by Gabrielle Zevin), The Gone series by Michael Grant, Elemental Assassin, the Study and Glass series (by Maria V. Snyder), Starcrossed and Liar's Moon, the Legend trilogy (by Marie Lu), Tamora Pierce's Tortall books, and a lot more. You can see that I love fantasy and dystopian books. I watch BBC's Sherlock (up-to-date), Breaking Bad (in the middle of S2), and House (almost done with S5), and I'm caught up with Once Upon a Time and The Fall. I'm an avid fan of Avatar: the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, and I also really like Fairy Tail, Naruto (though I'm still in the middle of Shippuden), Attack on Titan (anime only), Kaichou wa Maid-sama, and Hetalia, and I've watched (but not read) Ouran High School Host Club. I really like Disney in general, and, well... sigh. If you want a (more) complete list of my fandoms, there's one on my tumblr (something like /my-fandoms but I'M NOT SURE). Just as a note, people have asked me why my stories tend to have such bittersweet or downright unhappy endings. I guess it's just that I feel there are too many happy endings here (not that the characters don't deserve them; after all, fanfiction is for readers to explore alternate endings or premises that they like better), and the thing is, life isn't all about happy endings. Also, I'm curious about exploring what-ifs: What if Merlin died?, What if Dimitri left Rose?, What if Sherlock was abused/neglected?, What if Slytherin had a very good reason to not like Muggles and was actually a really good person?. I promise to write some more positive fanfics, though. Well, maybe. I hope that you enjoy my stories. Inform me of any inconsistencies, mistakes, or just suggestions to make my writing better. Constructive criticism is always welcomes. Just please be polite (or at least try) in doing so; no flaming, please! Additional info (not in summaries) and current progress of my stories are detailed below in the news/info about stories section. Thanks!
P.S. A bit of shameless self-promotion here, but I also have a tumblr at . P.P.S. This account currently on hiatus; FFN has been blocked from my computer because my parents thought that I wasted too much time there. I know; it's tragic, and for some strange reason, I as a high school student still have parental controls on my personal computer. P.P.P.S. However, my account at AO3 is active- my username is essyr, and you can find most of my stuff there. What else could have made my daddy so mad? I wish I were better; I wish I weren't ugly. Then maybe my mommy would still want to hug me. I can't speak at all; I can't do a wrong. Or else I'm locked up all the day long. When I wake up, I'm all alone. The house is dark. My folks aren't home. When my mommy does come, I'll try and be nice, so maybe I'll get just one whipping tonight. Don't make a sound! I just heard a car. My daddy is back from Charlie's Bar. I hear him curse my name he calls; I press myself against the wall. I try and hide from his evil eyes. I'm so afraid now I'm starting to cry. He finds me weeping; he shouts ugly words. He says it's my fault that he suffers at work. He slaps me and hits me and yells at me more. I finally get free and I run for the door. He's already locked it and I start to bawl. He takes me and throws me against the hard wall. I fall to the floor with my bones nearly broken, and my daddy continues with more bad words spoken. "I'm sorry!" I scream, but it's now much too late. His face has been twisted into unimaginable hate. The hurt and the pain, again and again. Oh please, God, have mercy! Oh please let it end! And he finally stops and heads for the door, while I lie there motionless sprawled on the floor. My name is Sarah, and I am but three. Tonight my daddy murdered me. o O o At age 8, your dad buys you an ice cream. You thanked him by dripping it all over his lap. When you were 9 years old, he paid for piano lessons.
