| mogi93 chapter 1 . 3/27/2015 Oh dear. I'm not sure I needed this. But I'm so glad I found this story! It's amazing, wonderful, heartbreaking and so beautifully written! I never liked Arthur and Merlin as a couple so I was totally rooting for Gwaine and my heart broke with him. I really disliked Merlin here - and he's my favourite character! But that was good, really. People are not always what we would like them to be. And the ending is what got me to tears. Like okay I was crying before but the ending hurt so muuuuuch! I was afraid of reading it, because I knew Gwaine was dead. This was sad. But I can't stop reading this so thank you for giving us this amazing story! |

I suppose that's a good response to evoke? I'm not sure if I feel Merlin and Gwaine are quite in character or not, but the way they are here still breaks my heart. It's believable and horrible and I hate them all. Ya know. In a good way. |

And my beautiful Gwaine! *more tears* I think I need a hug. And now I'm going to go lie down and sulk and refuse to go NEAR another fanfiction ever again because my poor, POOR heart is too broken XD. You wrote every moment, every emotion, every ounce of pain and sadness so clearly it was almost like going through the motions with the characters. Wow. Perfect beyond words. Aaaand now I need a hot chocolate and a blanket. I'm in shock O_O |
