I would have expected Snape to explain what accidental magic is.

Harry seems quite adaptable in a weird sort of way. Why isn't he confused to a standstill?

They took the UNDERGROUND from somewere around London (which is reasonable) to a castle in the Scottish highlands? In the middle of nowhere? And in 2 hours?
Because Snape wanted to spare the little boy from the shock of seeing magic on their way to a magical castle? After more or less kidnapping him?

Snape is a difficult character to portray. He only ever shows us masks. But I don't really see him pouting, like in that last paragraph.

See. The story IS picking up. I'm curious how Harry is going to receive an orphanage, he was always been told horrorstories about those after all.

It was rather slow. But I am shure the story is going to pick up from here. After all, tis is just the setup.

Okay I have only read 11 chapters but Snape is very confusing and is not a good guardian for Harry. He says one thing to others to make them think he cares but then he walks around thinking of hoping that someone will say something to make him right in hating Harry even when he knows everything he has been through and knows what it’s like since he has been abused.

Sometimes he thinks “I would never hurt him” but also hopes he can hate and justify hurting him, like what kind of guardian is that? Harry should be removed or at least have someone watch over him who doesn’t hate him simply for being born to the “wrong” people.

Well I hope thing gets better and that either Snape becomes a better person or Harry gets removed and adopted to someone who actually cares about him
