![]() Author has written 8 stories for Pokémon, Batman, My Little Pony, and Five Nights at Freddy´s. Felicitations, malefactors! I'm teaching myself to write. Specifically, I'm teaching myself to handle plot, character development, and various other odds and ends that separate stories from one-shots. Whether or not I'm succeeding is up to you, the viewer, and I need your doubtless magnificent skills in critiquing. So do it. Not that, you sickos! Pokémon. TV Tropes. Discworld. That is all. ...no, it isn't. I believe Ray Bradbury is a truly great writer, and I follow his philosophy on writing: Interviewer: I remember listening to a writer talk about her characters once. She said that she was the boss, and they were puppets: they went exactly where she told them, did what she ordered them to do... Ray Bradbury: You can't do that. That's bad writing. They must write you. They must control you. They plot me. I never control. I let them have their lives. IV: Is that leap of faith scary? RB: No, it's wonderful. I love my characters. I trust them. You said, guy. That's how I write my stories. Sometimes I find myself thinking as General Circuit instead of as some depressed teenager. Should that scare me? It doesn't. And besides, Warp pays me to write down his adventures for him, so what the heck. ;) Matthew Warp -- (Original Character) -- Bio Age: 15 Species: Not Quite Human Position: Guardian of Reality Alias: Warp, the White Rabbit, Flashheart Powers: Several. All Guardians have the stock powers of super-strength, speed and agility, thought they tend to have one of those three to a greater degree than the others. Warp focuses on agility. Like all Guardians, Warp can teleport, usually in a flash of light. Also like all Guardians, he can shapeshift. Different Guardians have different forms. For instance, former Guardian Josh Porter was known as the Scarlet Wolf, and guess what he turned into. Warp's default shapeshifter form is a white rabbit, though he can often turn into any other rodent as well. Warp is also a telepath, a power that manifests very uniquely for him. Other: All Guardians have a weapon that they carry. Frederick Hackett had a copper-colored metal glove that could project all manner of tools. Warp chose an ornate golden walking stick, which can shapeshift into any and all tools he could ever possibly need. Warp is also a very special kind of crazy. He's just crazy enough that he can handle the job without going insane. By the same logic, he's completely immune to mind-games, sometimes because he's too stubborn or distracted to be fooled, others because he is completely immune to any and all forms of mind control, no exceptions. Warp always wears white and yellow, colors which also pass on to his various forms. |
