Hey! My name's Matt! I speak French and English fluently and use both on a daily basis. If you need English-French translations for your story, I am always available. I am back, for now! -- 27/11/2013

I'd say its been a while since I last updated my fanfiction. I just wanted to let you guys know that I am actively working on Chapter Ten. Sneak peek: It will be called 'Under the Moonlight'. Big surprise? I think not. It was pretty obvious in my opinion. I'm working on the kiss scene right now, and let me tell you that getting the emotions down is some hard work. I've never actually gotten far enough into a fanfic to write one, so this is all fresh to me! Hopefully, I do a good job and don't disappoint... Nor hit a writing block. Chapters 1 to 7 will also get a rewrite eventually. If you're wondering, school's been good, got my average to top the 90% so I don't think I'll be getting any trouble going into my future school.

Back to writing! -- 23/07/2013

So I couldn't write for the first month of summer because of various things. Namely, vacations, job, friends and girlfriend. I am presently finding time to write and my interest to my story A Veela's Gateway has returned! I am now 3K words into chapter nine, which will be titled Yule Spirit. Otherwise, if you're one of those people that have been waiting for me to update my Ga'Hoole story for a long time... Well I have no good news for you at the moment... Sorry... But I'll get around to writing the conclusion eventually! Expect the A Veela's Gateway chapter within a few days. It will be a long chapter though, at least 10K words. I might even end up splitting it into two parts, depending on just how long it is. 'Till next time!

First day of school -- 08/01/2013

All I can say is... Not too bad. School is only half the problem though, I'm being overwhelmed with sport practices. Today was Cross-Country and let me tell you that I wish I could die right now. Not only do we run outside in the cold, we also come back in without a break an hour later and start doing static drills. It's incredibly satisfying, even if amazingly difficult. I'll probably make it to around 1.5K-2K words in A Veela's Gateway tonight. I also wanted to warn you guys, I am going to change the title of A Veela's Gateway, I changed my mind on the ending and therefore, the title doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Oh god no! -- 06/01/2013

Relax, I didn't lose my files or anything. I'm just really sad because school will be starting soon, meaning that I won't have as much time to write as I do now. I just wanted to write a little something to let you guys know that chapter eight for my Harry Potter fic is completed and only needs proofreading before I upload it. It's a rather long chapter, towering at 7,310K words! Not sure how fast the updates will be when I start school, but don't expect a miracle.

Doing good! -- 04/01/2013

I just wrote around 3K words for "A Veela's Gateway" in one sitting, so expect a new chapter sooner than later. Man I'm updating fast, I don't know how or when, but my writing style became more fluid and easier to write, I also think it improved in quality which is always nice. I will likely not write tomorrow as I am going to my great grand-mother's funeral for the most of the day. Don't fuss about it though, I won't go into the details, but it's a mercy that she died, she was suffering. On a brighter note, I return to my writing in the hopes of posting a chapter before school starts...

I've been writing since early 2008! It all started in a forum called "InheritanceForums" where I posted my version of the last installment of the Inheritance Cycle. Despite not completing the story, I was quite satisfied with how it turned out. After leaving InheritanceForums for some personal reasons, I began to grow some interest in writing a Guardians of Ga'Hoole fanfiction... And I did. I always thought that this series needed, and deserved far more romance then the author gave it (None, really.) so I figured that I should create a story about it. My interest then bounced from GoG to Balto and the 1925 Nome Serum Run, then back to Inheritance, followed by a GoG again, Lion King... The rest is history.
