![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Kristyna is my name. I'm the chicka in the avatar. Hi, nice to meet cha! I'm a pure-bred Yooper, meaning I was born and raised (by two Yoopers) in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. But I've been all over the place in the last couple years. I moved to Rochester, NY for a year. Then I went back to my hometown for a few months. When things didn't work out there, I moved with my fiancee to his hometown, Oklahoma City, OK. Again, there were no jobs there, so now we are in Statesville, NC. Aria is my character. I will never be able to write anything without her as the main character (trust me, I've tried). I've been developing her for nearly 8 years-- she is a part of me now. I started out with writing stories in notebooks. I'm not ashamed to say that I started with the Twilight Series. *collective gasp* I was in 7th grade. Those books were written in a style compatible to pre-teens' minds. It's okay. And I'll admit, I LOVE the characters... Err, rather, the idea of said characters. Now that I look back, I see they story wasn't very well-written but it was a good idea. I've ALWAYS been a die-hard Harry Potter fan. I was 4 years old whenSS (the movie) came out, and my life has been surrounded by it since. My younger cousin (who is about 2 1/2 years younger than me) and I used to reenact the movies. And when we got bored with that (around the timePoA came out) we made up our own characters and adventures. Her younger sister, who's nearly 4 years younger than me, joined us in our play once she was old enough... So basically as soon as she was potty-trained. Once we got older, we started whittling our own wands from sticks in her back yard, writing quizzes that one would actually take in Hogwarts, and just about anything else you could think of. oml, Snape with ballons... O.O BEST FUCKING MEMORY EVER. Ugh, so many feels! Anyways, the cosplay developed into the story-writing of the notebook sort. From notebooks, I turned to roleplay. And now, an excerpt from UrbanDictionary! Role Playing Role playing may refer to; 3) Using social networking sites, eg Bebo or MySpace to act out actions of a character either canon (from anime/manga/TV programmes/etc) or non-canon (original characters made up by the roleplayer). Commonly associated with "geeks" and "nerds". Okay, now you're educated, if you didn't know before-hand. Aria has always been my character for the 6 years that I have been roleplaying. I have changed her story so much, but it's okay, because that's what happens and I'm only improving her or learning from my mistakes! Aria now is totally unrecognizable from Aria when I started. I don't plan on leaving RP at any time, but I know I will eventually. Until then, if you're a fellow roleplayer, add me! Aria Fyre Klein. I'm mostly just on now. [Updated November 26, 2014] As previously mentioned, I am now engaged. He and I have been together just over a year now. We don't plan on getting married anytime soon, as we can't afford a wedding. I'm seeking a job in a daycare, currently. Maybe between that and little Raine, I'll be able to curb the craving for children of my own until we can support ourselves and give them a good life as well. I've been re-reading the story I have posted, and I'm hoping to get a few more chapters out for it, but I can't make any promises... I work (sometimes full-time, sometimes not quite) and it's a rather stressful job where I am now. I'm looking for a new one because of that. As most writers know, stress is the perfect catalyst for writer's block. I started to edit my story, but when my stress level rose again, I sort of lost my footing. Hopefully I'll be able to fix the problems I'm having with my job enough that I can get back in the swing of writing again soon! Thank you all for taking the time to listen to me ramble, and thanks so much for your support and understanding. |
