The one downside to the story is the cure. Really? Hermione gets bitten and within a year finds the part of the cure to the uncurable? No negative side effects. I had hoped there would at least be a negative side effect. Hermione told Snape when she first began that she didn't expect to find a cure, just a way to physically suppress the wolf like the wolfsbane suppress the mind of the wolf. So, I was really hoping she'll either find it's not possible or, at least, find that suppressing the wolf causes some health issues that makes it dangerous to drink the potion to suppress the wolf every single month. I mean, it sounds like there would be some issues with stopping your body's need to shift and change. It sounds like it would hurt just as much as letting your body to shift. At least say they can use the potion a few mouths, but then they need to change, just to release some of the tension in their body. It was that hope that kept me reading, until chapter 34. I had to jump to the last chapter to see if there was any side effects and found none. Yeah, at least it's not a cure cure, one drink and all cured...that would be a whole lot worst. So, thank you for not doing that! If I had to choose between that and what you came up with, I would pick yours.
Other than that, I really liked Hermione and Remus development. He kept his morals and waited until she graduated and, even then, struggled with their relationship for while, that was very much his character. I liked the friendship Hermione struck with Snape and Draco. Hermione's determination was very on point as well.

Loved the plot!

This reminds me of Harry’s outburst in Deathly Hallows when Remus runs away from rinks when she’s pregnant. It’s a perfect scene that shows Harry’s loyalty, determination, and love for a friend. I’m assuming you mirrored that on purpose, but even if you didn’t, it shows a side to Harry we need.

Thank you for posting this story! I recently got interested in this pairing, and Lupin has always been one of my favorite characters in the books (i was devastated that he died in canon).

You write really well, conversations flow naturally, and the narrative parts are quite descriptive without being too dragging.

I must admit that I found it weird with Hermione having to always chase after Lupin especially at the start, but knowing Lupin's character he probably would never have made the first move and Hermione's persistence is exactly what he needed. I am glad things got resolved for them in the end and Lupin finally got the happiness he deserved.
