Just because you never mentioned them using a contraption spell when they had sex. I kept waiting for it to pop up. A little disappointed she wasn't. Would have made a nice twist at the end but your ending was still sweet.

I plowed through this so here is one obnoxiously long review to make up for it. I loved how you wrote him in the past. He had the right amount of teenage awkwardness mixed with elements of the personality he would grow into. It was adorable. I also liked how she kept coming up with detailed plans that would fall apart as soon as she interacted with him. Perfectly Hermione.

You used the Marauders well, as a means to push them closer together. I had expected most of this to take place in the past, with a quick ending after the battle. What you did was so much better.

The point when you switched perspectives was just right. Not only to let us know what he experienced but good for you as an author to get into his headspace when she returned. I like how you showed him go from rage to a kind of acceptance over the years. I don't think I would have believed his reaction when she comes back if you didn't take us through his change over the years.

Overall, your characterization is very well done, and the plot was entertaining and original with enough twists to keep me guessing. I really enjoyed this story, thank for writing it!

I'm surprised Molly let them share a room. After the tenuous state their relationship is in, separate rooms might have actually been better. Can see both points of view.

Why did Hermione suddenly get hurt? They were just bantering. She really shouldn't have asked him to make big decisions as soon as he woke up. Maybe he didn't know if he could ever trust her.

Her justification of why it was Snapes death she cared about more than the others was interesting. I still don't think it applied to Sirius. He never really got a chance to live, did he? I'm glad you addressed it though.

I always thought Lily was damn cruel for never forgiving Snape. It says as much about her as the fact that she died for her son.

I love this fic... But how is Severus more worthy of saving than Sirius is? Severus got to live in relative freedom for years. Sirius was falsly imprisoned and tortured for over a decade! And he never gave in the the dark side, even for a minute, even when his family disowned him for it. It's a far more tragic story.

Oh come on. Even Hermione is overreacting to the word? Lily broke off a life long friendship cuz of one insult. Who does that, no matter how awful? Especially considering the humiliating and abusive circumstances Snape was in when he said it. He obviously didn't mean it.
